This is our second time in Polignano a Mare and we stumbled upon St Michele Suites. This hotel has been —by far— the best experience we’ve had in Polignano a Mare.
The suite was beyond our finest expectations. From the moment you arrive their staff help you with your luggage (it is not always easy to transport through cobble stones) -Alessandro was polite and professional! The breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The welcome drinks are provided on the rooftop, which is a romantic and comfortable spot with amazing views! It’s also accessible any time of day. Our room was extremely clean, spacious, and the view —better than any lookout point in Polignano. It was central to all Polignano has to offer. The staff (highlight to Valentina) were very professional, hospitable and accommodating. The communication with hotel staff was top notch. Any questions or recommendations you may need you message through WhatsApp, they respond quickly and honestly. We even had the pleasure of meeting the hotel owners that were true hosts and passionate about their property with the ultimate hospitality. If you are looking for a central location, extremely well maintained, true 5-star hotel then St. Michele Suites is exactly what you want.
There is absolutely nothing not to like. It was perfection.

The location and decor is unbelievable, the rooftop bar is amazing and the staff in particular are what make it a fantastic hotel - they were so attentive and helpful, even after we checked out. Especially Serena and Joanna ☺️

The hotel is very well located, right in the historic center with easy access to restaurants. The staff is extremely helpful, always available and attentive, and the breakfast is excellent, with a wide variety of options.
For the price paid, the rooms are quite small (you cannot open two suitcases on the room without getting all the space). Access to the hotel requires about a 10-minute walk from the parking area, and the hotel’s background music can be heard from inside the room (although the staff promptly lowered the volume when requested).
Overall, when you are paying more than €1,000 per night, you simply expect more.
