The house was really cute, the room was very spacious, the area is great as it's walking distance to all essentials, especially that beautiful park 2 blocks down the Ramblas. Kitchen was very well equipped. The staff we met was nice, checkin and out was easy. We'd come here again.
We were somewhat prepared for it bc we read it in the reviews: if you are sensitive to noise, earplugs will be a benefit - the kids at that school next door are on speed from 7am-11pm ;) We had the one room that only had the window to the staircase of the neighbor's house - architectually that is a choice. but during the entire week we only saw the neighbor's legs once so it was fine I guess.

The location is quite nice as it’s close to the main Santa Cruz’s busy streets but it’s in a very nice, residential area.
Conveniently located for those having to take the tram or buses for the main bus station or the areas north of Santa Cruz.
There is no towels change at all - I was there 5 nights and no towels were changed. The room I was in had no real window but a sort of window with dimmed glass on a staircase that was used by others so in the evening if the lights there were on I would have light in my room. Same for opening the window, I could hear all the noise.
The bathrooms are old and need a bit of renewing.
The sound isolation doesn’t exist. One day I came from a hike around 5pm. All people from the other rooms with kids were downstairs and embarrassed as the room next door to mine had a couple having an intercourse -I was embarrassed to be in my own room how loud you could hear them, even the floor below you could hear them in the kitchen.
