Excellent apartment near the Vatican

Excellent two bed, two bath located near the Vatican in the Prati area of Rome. Lovely clean and spacious apartment. A short walk to the Metro station to connect to the rest of the city if walking is a problem. Numerous cafes and restaurants around so plenty of choice. Roberta is the perfect host giving us advice on restaurants and travelling requirements. Thank you Roberta

Maybe a mirror, near a socket, in the bedroom for hair and make up for the ladies whilst others are using bathrooms.

Quiet, comfortable home while in Rome

Roberta met us as we arrived straight from the airport. She showed us all around the impeccably clean apartment and gave us a list of restaurants, gelaterias, and other useful addresses in the neighborhood. She even left us a welcome basket of treats! Prati is a great place to base your stay in Rome. It's walking distance to the Vatican, a 20-min walk to the Centro Storico, and has a convenient metro stop to take you anywhere else. It's safe and the food was both better and more affordable than in the center. The apartment itself is spacious and quiet. We were able to sleep at any hour (which is nice when you're jet-lagged) and were comfortable under the air conditioning. The space is bright and airy with high ceilings. We really felt like we were living in Rome for a few days.

The beds are very comfortable but the pillows are a bit overused at this point.
