Stelio & Galini is perfectly located in Pedi, about 100m from the waterfront. Although it is on one of the two roads into Pedi, traffic is light (September) and noise doesn’t intrude. The rooms are simple, clean and perfect for a week or two, with small kitchenette, aircon, tv and plenty of storage for clothes.
Alex, who met me and gave me the key, was super helpful and friendly. He was really patient when I was coming in via Rhodes and timings were a bit imprecise, very laid back and accommodating, plus always contactable and happy to answer questions.
The staff who serviced the room every couple of days were kind and friendly and did a great job. I have stayed in places in Greece where I have paid more and had less service, so S&G is doing it right, in my opinion.
I swam off the beach three times a day and to be able to stroll down in shorts, tee shirt and with a towel and not much else was a joy.
Boats for the local beaches leave from Pedi dock. I didn’t use them so cannot review.
There are a couple of tavernas, one at either end of the waterfront, a snack bar which also has a small shop just metres from the accommodation, a larger shop within 2min walk and another bar.
Walking to Symi Town is possible if you are fit and healthy and don’t mind a lot of steep steps. I did it every day and back, it takes 25-30min. Otherwise the bus is every hour between en 0830 and 0030 from the dock and takes 15min, costing €2.50 per person (September 2026).
Nothing about the property itself. It’s Greece - be prepared for dogs, roosters and church bells.

Proper Greek, a little quirky but nicely so. Kitchen well equipped to make simple food.
Excellent location if you want to be near the beach. Quiet area with just 3 dining/bar options within easy reach.

Great location, cheap for the area. Clean
Earpiercing long screech in our room everytime anyone in the building used the tap/toilet. Not conducive to a peaceful night or holiday.
