The location was lovely, breakfast was tasty.
I thought it was expensive for the rooms that we had. The smell was musty and almost retirement home in feeling, the canopy over the bed in room 1 was about an inch thicknwith dust. Whilst it was clean, It was very dated internally, some of the fixtures where damaged and could do with a general revamp. At £90 per night I would accept what we had but at almost £150 I found it to be a little expensive when compared with other similar type properties I have stayed in previously. Bit of a time warp and I appreciate it is an old property but rooms just felt dated rather than charming. Staff where lovely though.
