Where do I start? Very clean comfortable room 40 inch flat screen TV lockbox kettle for water good air conditioning wall fan refrigerator balcony if you're a smoker. The owner Jenny is always on the premises always smiling super service from the staff. I have stayed here probably 5 or 6 times for periods of between 4 and 6 days. The location is fantastic in a small little alleyway just off the night market. The value for money is tremendous. I highly recommend it

a nice hostel where you can have your own double room (and not [only] dorms), a very helpful staff, a quiet and friendly atmosphere, a perfect location with the night market just around the corner and the beach at walking distance. Very reasonable prices.

Comfortable room, lots of attention to detail to make the stay pleasant - great bed mattress, convenient storage and wall shelves, desk, even a small sofa to sit and enjoy a cup of cofee. The window in our room had an ugly view, but it was not a problem for us - room was quiet, peaceful, and we spent most of the day time outside the room anyway. I addition, there was a really pleasant rooftop terrace with tables and chairs for all guests to enjoy.
The owner Jenny was the least friendly host we have encountered on this trip to Thailand. As a matter if fact, she was the opposite of a typical friendly Thai hospitality we so much value, and this is the main reason I give the low score to this place. I found Jenny to be arrogant, aloof, unhelpful and dismissive. Maybe the owner is an unhappy person in general, but if you choose to be in hotel industry - learn how to be nice to your guests. Luckily, the young cleaning lady was a nice, friendly, helpful person, and she is the only one who made us welcome.
