Das Zimmer war praktikabel eingerichtet, wie bei Berghotels für Wanderer typisch. Das Bad war entweder gerade modernisiert worden oder sehr gut gepflegt. Die Unterkunft wirkte insgesamt sehr angenehm. Die Sauberkeit war absolut außergewöhnlich gut. Man hätte sprichwörtlich vom Boden essen können.
Zum Hotel gibt es ein Restaurant, welches zumindest im Sommer ab 21 Uhr Abendessen anbietet. Das Essen ist sehr empfehlenswert.
Schöne Ausflugsziele, auch mit Kindern, sind von der Unterkunft leicht zu erreichen:
- Parking ruta gargantas de Escuain (kleine Wanderung zu einem kleinen See eines Bergflüßchens, auch zum Baden geeignet, aber sehr kalt)
- Rundwanderweg um die Aussichtpunkte Mirador de Escuain etc. (sehr beeindruckend)
- Ermitas de Tella
Es muss irgendwo in den Bergen ein technisches Problem gegeben haben. Aus diesem Grund fiel während unseres 3 -tägigen Aufenthalts regelmäßig das WiFi des Hotels wie auch der normale Handy-Empfang aus. Manchmal funktionierte es, manchmal nicht. Die Unterkunft war daran wohl nicht schuld, aber es nervte schon etwas.

A special place, hard to get to along the mountain road perhaps - we were in a campervan and it was tricky but fine -.but totally worth it.
A bit more space perhaps in the room and bathroom.
