A very nice family homestay close to the beach and main tourist area with a very friendly and helpful family. Overall we really liked how clean everything was and the AC worked great too.
This shower was the best one we had had in two weeks: good pressure, hot, and the bathroom was spotless.
Costs 200 extra to use the kitchen

The family was friendly although as explained later, could have made more effort to engage with us as their guests. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was we'll appointed although not ensuite but immediately next door. There are seating areas inside and outside in the small garden. Very conveniently located for the bus station, railway station and nearby beach, although the better beaches are a longer walk or tuk tuk ride away. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Reasonable value for money.
Our double room was quite small and very hot due to only one window and despite the two fans provided. The property is on the edge of the railway tracks and so be prepared to be woken by thundering trains sounding their horns at night and early morning. The family could have made more effort to engage with us as their guests but did little more than show us to our room on the first day. They gave no explanation of what facilities we could use in the property or told us anything about the area.
