Tolle Lage braucht aber dringend ein paar Updates

Die Lage und die Aussicht sind toll. Die Vermieterin war sehr nett. Auf Anfrage haben wir sofort neue Handtücher bekommen.

Die Ausstattung ist schon abgewohnt. Die Schlafzimmertür hat ein eingeschlagenes Loch, der Waschbeckenunterschrank ist defekt und öffnet nicht problemlos. Die Nachttischlampe war kaputt. Haben wir sofort moniert und innerhalb von 5 Tagen keinen Ersatz bekommen. Die Küchenausstattung ist spartanisch. Die Schlafzimmerfenster sind nicht verdunkelbar. Die Duschbrause war lose. Das war auch schon bekannt.

A clean room, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, and friendly hosts. I recommend it!

Unfortunately, apartment number 1 is adjacent to the road, so sometimes passing cars generate a lot of noise (even at night). If you have trouble falling asleep, consider another location. Unfortunately, the WIFI signal is extremely weak. It kept disconnecting, and my private router with a T-Mobile card, unfortunately, had no coverage in this room (probably due to thick walls).

Superb

Apartment was very nice and comfortable. The owners very helpful and obliging.

It is located at the top of Ohrid old town, difficult to walk down to centre. But taxis available at good prices.

Everything. The place is beautiful, the accommodation is nice, close to everything and located in a beautiful part of the city. There is a small kitchen with the basic pots, pans and glasses, everything you need. No one bothered us, the owners were always available if needed. The owners Ivana and her mother in law are so nice.

Despite what I have written above we enjoyed our stay the hospitality of our host very much.

Very much impressed with the host and her efforts to make us feel welcome and address our concerns. She was very responsive and attentive to our concerns. We also loved the location.

1) This was rated as a 4 star but I do not believe that it has the facilities of a 4-star accommodation. 2) We were also disappointed that there were towel hooks that were broken though this was addressed quickly. There were other issues that needed some maintenance attention such as ... - unpleasant smell in the upstairs apartment. - loose shower head attachment on the wall of ground floor apartment - loose power outlet in the kitchen of ground floor apartment 3) The wardrobe (ground floor apartment) beside the bed was awkward to get into. Given the space between the wardrobe and the bed a wardrobe with sliding doors would work better.

Great Room close Upper gate in Ohrid old town

Really nice, modern cool and queit room not many meters away from the upper gate. Almost no trafik and even thue its a small road oitside the Windows it was almost no one passing since its so high up on the side. Churches and Amphitheather also really close. One just behend the house. A nice walk is to go up to the fortress, enjoy the wiew and then go over the hill down to the Monestary and continue down to the small church on the cliff, before goding down to the water and in to the town. That way u dont have to do so match climbing up the stairs and hills. First time I wisited Ohrid i did the walk the other way, upphill. And this way, since u already stay at sutch a nice place and location is a good one. Easy to take taxi there on arrival. She was so kind and prebooked a driver that waited for us at the airport. I do not recomend walking up there with bags uphill the small cobbelstone Streets. Its a uphill walk to the room from town at nigh, but it was worth it along the butifull streets. If u dont want to walk a taxi takes u up fast and cheap on the Streets behind the old town. We forgot a jacket and the owner mailed us about it so that we can go and pick it up. She is really nice and god at English also.

Wifi could be lite better but it worked. The doorlock needed some twerking with the key before u got the hang of it and could open. The led light list around the bedboard at the Wall was just blinkning so we could not have it turned on.

This place is a gem! It's located just inside of the town walls in the old town. All places of interest are nearby. The view over the town and lake is stunning! The apartment has everything one needs, inluding the parking spot. Totally loved it!

If we come back again one day Ivana’s place would be our destination.

The location was perfect. It was only 5 minutes away from the city center. The apartment was clean. Our host Ivana and her mom was really friendly and hospitable. We had perfect sleeping it was so quiet.

AMAZING place!

AMAZING place! We arrived at first for 2 nights, but in first 1 hour weve decided to stay 1 day more, partly because of the balcony with the lake view. Hosts is a lovely family. The house located in the old town but away from crowds, so after 6 pm it is so calm. I think half of the time we spent on that balcony. The only criticism: will be nice to have more things in the kitchen for cooking, like small things - salt, pepper and regular oil.

Our stay was perfect. We wouldn’t change a thing.

Everything was just perfect! The location is great (the apartment is located in the old town and the center is close so you can walk to many great locations).

You must visit it

Superb place, perfectly clean, wonderful location. I went there for new year 2022, weather was really warm the view on the balcony was sooo good that I had 2 coffees in the morning to enjoy more. Ivana I believe she is the owner was super nice, friendly cheerful and helpful by any means. Everything was perfect, place is the same as on the photos. Nice, cozy and worm. The location is perfect if you would like to enjoy and relax. I would definitely visit it again. Free parking available right at the front door to the apartments. That is a huge plus for staying in Ohrid during the season.

I didn't like that my vacation ended. Wish I had couple more days off to stay and explore the surroundings, but next time will for sure.

We were absolutely happy to stay here.

We liked the atmosphere both inside and outside the house. A small garden and a balcony is gorgeous. The room was beautifully and newly designed. The cathedral of Theotokos Perivlepta with the most wonderful frescoes and art gallery is right besides up the hill.

The floor in the evening was cold a little, so we were not able to take the boots off.

Great cosy little studio with all amenities needed for a great few days stay at Ohrid. Nice and quiet location for the night sleep in the old part of town... 5 minutes walk down by stairs to the lake and all the restaurants. The host was very nice and discreet. I would definitely come back to this apartment. There was a free car parking place just in front of the building in the small street which was also great for us.

Hello! Cosy apartments just in the city center and situated in quiet green district right on the top of the hill . Room and kitchen are well furnished and fully equipped, bath,tv e.t.c. All my expectations were fulfilled. The owner is hospitable and helpful ready to help and give advise about the resort and surroundings at any time. Come and enjoy!
