My room was clean and perfect for what I needed.
There is a VERY loud nightclub right next door playing music until 4am in the morning, sadly. Mostly Wednesday through Saturday night. The other nights were quiet.

Stayed here 7 years ago. Good value for private room. Nice rooftop, unfortunately building works nearby so was noisy early, usually very quiet

I liked how close the hostel was to the beach. I also appreciate that it provided the space for our clothes to dry.
The smell of old wood when entering the bedroom. A sudden change of the door code without any prior notice. Stuffy, hot interiors. No room service (bins, fresh towels, cleaning).
