Self check up, good location, comfortable bed, quite and safety. All need for cook. We like it. Netflix.

The kitchen was always clean. We could cook easy dinner there and also use the coffee machine. Tea was also provided. There was also a dining table.
Our room was clean and small air-conditioner was provided.
The location of the guesthouse was perfect. Only a 5 minute walk to the nearest metro station and 20 minute walk to the train station Brussel-Central.
We don't have one negative thing to say.

no lift, we had suit cases, it was really difficult to get our bags to our room.

It was a nice place to stay, close to center and transport. Everything was good.
Only for summer mansard floor can be warm, there is no air-con available.

I really liked the ambience of the place. It was very cosy and clean. It even had a cute balcony off my room and my room was more like a duplex so very big for me.
It was super hot in Brussels when i got there in the evening and there was not a fan in the room and no one to ask for a fan. I had to open the windows and it was very noisy at night in the garden next door so it was hard to sleep. The fridge door also fell off, but i didn't really need to use the fridge. Things like that could be repaired. There were also no screens on the windows, but luckily i didn't get bit by mosquitos.

The location is excellent and the staff are nice. In addition, it is a quiet place and everything was clean.
There are a lot of stairs and there is not any lift, but that was not a problem for me.

Nice traditional old city house, very well located by the centre, next door to some of EU agencies. Accomodation was really clean and tidy. The reception is open long, and check-in/out was flexible. (Very) good price/value ratio.
No air condition and window could not be set to ventilation mode, either close, or wide open, which makes the room hot e.g. during rain. Although the room was quite new renovated, and everything worked, some items are a bit strangely finished, which does not make very good feeling. Internet connection did not work for me, but that was probably temporary problem.

We were upgraded for the same price, we had a spacious apartman on the 2nd Floor, that came with a balcony. The view was really nice, enjoyed a lot the first spring sunshine.

It would be nice to say that the bed is upstairs + being next to reception was a bit loud. Nevertheless, there was nice home-like atmosphere and kitchen was welcome :)

The check-in was super easy, possible to check in online. The location is great too, within walking distance of all major tourist attractions.
Even though small, the room was decently clean.
When I arrived, it was super cold in the room, as there was no central heating. There was and electric heater there, but it took a while to get it to a decent temperature. There was a very stale smell both in the room and throughout the hotel. On my first night, I couldn't sleep, because the entire night someone was drilling smth either in the same building, or the nearby one, I couldn't tell.
Also, the room lock needs looking at, as I couldn't close the room, as it wouldn't move, no matter how many times I turned the key.

The receptionist was super friendly, they have a place to cook, coffee area, living room, the beds are super comfortable and everything clean. They provide shampoo, shower gel and the location is close to the metro station and there are good places around there to have a meal and supermarket is near as well in case you want to cook. The place has no noise and I had a good night sleeping. I found it by searching and Highly recommend it.
1 only think is that the restroom is a bit small.
