We didn't actually spend the night but because we were flying out at midnight we wanted somewhere close to the airport for the day. It was spotless, pool was fabulouse, food was great and I had the best massage ever.
We did check in early, but that was luck! I tried unsuccessfully to book this in advance and didn't realise the I may not be able to check in before 2.

We loved the location, the incredible cleanliness of the whole hotel, the 2 restaurants with great views, the rooftop pool, the spacious room with balcony overlooking the gardens and squirrels entertaining us.
The decor. The foyer is too busy, the floors are too busy, the plastic plants. Having said that, it would not stop me from coming back!!

The room and hotel seemed very clean, and everything seemed to work as required. Reception lady was very accommodating and moved our room when requested. Also very helpful with taxi booking. The pool looked great but we didn't have a chance to use it.
The original room we were given was right next to the lift on the ground floor and faced onto the street. We simply didn't feel safe here however a quick request to reception and we were immediately relocated onto the 3rd floor. It's in the original end of Kuta so everything is quite old and tired in the area. There are warning signs everywhere about keeping the doors locked, using the safe, checking for dirty water and the rooms are kept basic. Clearly the owners have suffered from guests who have not respected the hotel or its staff so they have set it up accordingly, which doesn't instil confidence when you arrive. That said, we didn't experience any issues or anti social behaviour at all.
