Mooie locatie met een fijn strand op loopafstand

First time visit and last time visit

The room(s) are very nice. Great view. Good host, Lars.

Getting there was a big challenge. There was no decent road from Port Antonio. Just a bad dirt road in very bad shape. At the property, there was no hot water, no working TV, no internet, no restaurants/bars or any other entertainment near by. The closed beach was kind of cute but very dirty, trash everywhere. We only stayed 1 night but had to pay for 2. I think a refund for the second night would have been appropriate considering the fact, that there was no hot water, TV, wifi.

Amazing view as promissed!!!

Wonderful view!!! Very comfy and big bed, nice shower, very good air conditioning, super cool terrace. You may need a car to get there. The place is peaceful, free from turist (traveling May) but you can still find a bar, shop and restaurants nearby.

It's very confusing which room you actually booked. Photos on booking com are mixed. There are three different rooms for rent (if I'm not wrong) with different price and it's not really clear which one is yours. Platform call it "holiday house" so you could think it's even all property for you but that's not true. The best room is placed on the top but it has a shared kitchen what can affect a little bit of your privacy (but nobody been there during our stay except the owner to say hello). Before you book, ask!

Great guest house, perfect location, amazing views. Will be back to stay for sure!

We spent a short honeymoon here, the morning sunrise straight from our window was so nice. The view over the ocean was amazing. The breeze was perfect. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a fridge full of different beverage!! They allowed us to bring our puppy, which we loved, and he got on well with the neighbour dog. The shower was hot and strong. The apartment was decorated to a high standard, very modern, simple but cosy feel to the place. Could do with door mats for feet, and a broom but we asked the host and got one. The location was a short walk to the beach in a quiet hillside area, some construction going on but nothing to disturb us, neighbours were friendly.. We would definitely stay here again!!

The WiFi was not working the whole time. I had to hotspot my phone to the TV. But the TV was a good quality which allowed the connection no problem. The apartment had a passage which led downstairs to bedroom and bathroom and the sign said this area would share our kitchen. When we realised this we called the host to check, because if this area was occupied we would not have completed our stay, but it was empty so we had no problem in the end.

Exceptional

Our return visit was every bit as good as last year's. Fantastic view, lovely deck, greenery all around. Cee is helpful as always. The place exactly fits what we wish for a relaxed, quiet stay in real Jamaica. Thank you.

very good quality for money

The view & the hammock, you could spend hours on the balcony. The main studio is great, unfortunately we were moved to the smaller one which has a shared bathroom & kitchen…

No AC but mosquito nets on the windows

Very good

The terrace spot, with a nice hammock to enjoy the lovely view. The people of the comunity were really nice as It was Cee, our host and nephew of Antoinette. The communication with the owner, Antoinette, was really easy.

There was no mosquito net in the windows just at the bed, but this was not that helpful because is has some gaps and also It is so thick that made too warm inside.

Beautiful, peaceful views and comfortable cottage with a great host but many bugs

I loved the location, view and the decor of the cabin.

The wifi was not working, even though the owner stated there was wifi. I was not able to do the work I needed to do. Also, it is quite a trek to get food or beverages. Come prepared with your own food and drink. The mosquitos are aggressive and constantly swarming. The mosquito net over the bed helps. In the yard there is standing water in a drum that is attracting and breeding the mosquitos.

The Property is lavishly designedthe view of the water and peaceful rooms and very quiet Antoinette has the best people to up keep the place it's very clean Muffet one of the staff was very pleasant and resourceful on no movement day she gave me oil plantains and wayne gave us free fish I am staying there again next time thanks I highly recommend this place

Great quiet weekend for us to chill out in a convenient and comfy spot with great sea view and vibe.

Great View. Great sound of the ocean and feeling the sea breeze. Cozy and Quiet. It was no stress getting there and settling in. Antoinette communicated well by email. Muffett was a great host and saw that our needs were met. Kitchenette was well stocked with appliances and utensils. One can easily cook up a storm.

Mosquitoes came down at night but its the tropics. Maybe mosquito candle or vape oil could be included.

Disappointing, though we didn't have time to really explore the area much. We loved Winnifred beach.

If you want to be away from crowds, with a nice view of the ocean, it's good for that. Also, the owner stayed in good contact with us during our stay. The caretaker was available at all times and responsive to our needs. However, she woke us up both mornings before we were ready to be awakened! Although there was no air conditioning, there was a fan that was effective. The price was very low, but we learned why once we arrived.

The place wasn't clean and ants would pounce on any morsel of food anywhere. The place was about a 45 minute drive from Port Antonio and the roads to the cottage had many potholes and rough spots . Also, the taxis we were put in contact with charged more than we expected them to charge and drove WAY too fast, considering the circumstances. This was something that was consistent across the island. We really felt we should have been advised that the place was VERY hard to get to and would take a very long time to reach. Also, there weren't beaches close by that were clean, free and accessible. There was a photo on the wall that was extremely demeaning to women and offensive.

The ocean the staff muffin . The kitchen the cozy home feel I loved it I loved laying in my bed and being able to look put on the sea🥰

No a/c for sleep at night time .. but that’s just because I am asthmatic this is perfect for anyone. Bugs come our at night
