This was exactly what i was looking for- a quiet place outside the noise of Kingston. There were fruit trees on the property, hammocks, and pleasant neighbours close by. Everything was really clean, and I woke up to a gorgeous sunrise and went to bed with the sound of the ocean nearby.
The caretaker, Sash, was there to give me a quick rundown of nearby restaurants, etc, after handing me the keys. Antoinette, the hostess, was always available to answer my questions long before I got there, which i appreciated.

I enjoyed the view of the sea from the property, absolutely breath taking. The place was very spacious and comfortable. It was great to hear the sounds of the water throughout the day and chill out in the hammock on the balcony. Lars our host was very warm and welcoming and checked in occasionally to ensure we were comfortable.
The only issue was the air-conditioning in the bedroom. Kept us cool during the nights but wasn't very cool during the daytime when the space tends to be pretty warm.

Getting there was a big challenge. There was no decent road from Port Antonio. Just a bad dirt road in very bad shape. At the property, there was no hot water, no working TV, no internet, no restaurants/bars or any other entertainment near by. The closed beach was kind of cute but very dirty, trash everywhere. We only stayed 1 night but had to pay for 2. I think a refund for the second night would have been appropriate considering the fact, that there was no hot water, TV, wifi.
