A quaint country property with lots of positives but some tweaking wouldn't go astray.

Very quaint property with gorgeous surrounds and a great location. The life-like gas heater in the fireplace was a lovely surprise and the open plan of the suite, very nicely done. The Guest Information folder in the room was very well thought out and smartly put together. Also a generous touch was the provision of fresh crumpets, cereals, plenty of milk and butter for breakfast. Property was easy to access and the host was very approachable and helpful. Easy parking.

The lighting, except for the bedside lamps was really poor particularly at night. I abandoned any hope of trying to apply makeup even in the morning. The mattress is extremely hard and uncomfortable to sleep upon. The lack of sink at the amenities counter was a nuisance as the jug wouldn't easily fit under the tap in the bathroom basin. The people upstairs were quite noisy but luckily they called it quits at 11pm. This is, of course, no fault at all of the property.

Lovely country feel.

Great, comfortable bed, A nice continental breakfast which was plentiful. Gorgeous views outside and a very handy laundry.. Lovely large TV which would have been lovely to relax as I had a few days sick but a poor owl clipped the antenna and so no TV but that was ok it wasn't a must have for the holiday.. Thank you for a lovely stay. 😀

The place could use a lick of paint and a dust for the cobwebs but it is in the country😊

Very good

The feeling of isolation but still very close to town, the welcome basket was nice, the views from the balcony, the welcome booklet was fantastic.

The couch was extremely uncomfortable and sunken in, the bathroom could use a bit of a good scrub.

Excellent property if one is looking for peace and quiet within walking distance of main street.

The privacy, air-conditioned comfort & quality of furnishings, breakfast supplies, proximity to town and farm-like setting made our two night stay most enjoyable. WiFi facility, access to property and car parking were all very convenient.

We had no complaints at all and would have no hesitation recommending Lindsay House "Cow and Cabernet" to family and friends.

amazing place would go back in a flash

Loved the location - the size the views wow what a sight

the kitchen utensils need a refresh, the bbq needs some love and the decks are a bit scary to walk on.

Beautiful house in a gorgeous setting. Plenty of space. Comfy beds. Plenty of kitchen supplies and breakfast.

Spacious, good location close to centre, lovely setting in extensive gardens, well equipped property.arrangement. Lovely views from surrounding balconies. Laundry facilities and BBQ deck.

Arrangement for dish washing not ideal but manageable.

lovely accomodation for family or group . good ammenities . scenery very good . great location .

nails sticking up on outside decking, radio not working , no undercover parking . things found under beds on the floor and dust under dinning table . sofa bed malfunctioned , is bent at foot end , no ice in freezer .

very disappointed as paying $750

bed was comfortable lovely bread provided

shower wasn’t useable. glasses were dirty in kitchen. there was bird droppings on outdoor chairs (not fresh) kitchen bench had crumbs on it when we arrived.

Location was good

Very little kitchen stuff, just a frypan and microwave. Not even any implements to use the frypan with. No sink, had to carry water from the bathroom in a bucket to do the dishes that you are told you have to do before leaving.

The room was very good, nice breakfast, lovely view of the town Bed very comfortable and gas heater worked well as did air-conditioning

Shower curtain was mouldy. Group of people upstairs a bit noisy until 2am Friday night. Broken door latch to floor so this rattled all Friday night, we jamed the door to stop the rattle. Had a storm go through and water came in from inside ceiling by door.

Beautiful property to stay in with amazing views of the Barossa.

We have stayed here quite a few times now because we love the property and the location. This time was no exception, we love the views from the property as well, the gardens here are amazing too. Very comfortable place to stay and the bed is comfy and cosy. Will keep on coming back for sure.

Good location if you're looking to stay near Barossa.

Rooms were clean and the facilities were pretty good. Loved their goats and sheep on the property.

Superb

Large homestead feel, with nice view. Ample hot water, good heating, cute fire. Lots of good quality wine glasses and kitchen utensils. Basic Breakfast items were a nice touch, so too some basic cooking ingredients We met the llamas, goat and sheep from next door. Comfy bed you don’t want to get out of.

Minor things; Could do with a couple of extra tea towels, another chopping board, instructions on the dishwasher (we weren’t sure if it was ‘on’).

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Spacious and comfortable. Lovely balcony outside but it was a bit cold for us to enjoy it will have to come back. fire in the lounge was a bonus on the cool nights.

TV was very high but after we moved the furniture around it was OK.
