Loving EHWA All Over Again

We love EHWA. In fact, we stayed there for the 2 times we visited Seoul. It has a very customer-oriented owner, manager (Sean) and staff. They all ensure that they satisfy our needs e.g, quickly responding to our inquiries. The place is clean and the location is near to the night markets, church, malls & station. Breakfast is continental and ready on or before the designated time. The beds are comfortable with 2 pillows per person and a comforter. Great cooling system. Bathoom with good plumbing. Overall, we will likely stay there again if we travel back.

The triple room is a bit small but not really much to complain about since it still is comfortable. It is value for money.

Ripoff, Please avoid this trap!!!

Location is good. Manager was very friendly (to help me cancel my stay)

Worst experience ever, coming from a non-picky and very frequent traveler. Thin walls were a nightmare when trying to sleep (Loud neighbors!!). Bed terribly hard and room super hot. I had to leave to another hotel after one night. Decor looks like a backpackers’ hostel but it’s not even cheap!! breakfast one of the poorest I’ve seen in options and quality.

More like a good hostel than a hotel.

Location, location, location! 10 out of 10.

The breakfast was poor for a 3-star hotel. White sliced bread, peanut butter, jam, and processed cheese slices or cereal. The breakfast started late at 8 a.m. The double rooms are tiny, and the beds were hard. The toilet paper couldn't be flushed and had to be binned. Our view was brick wall just in front of the window. No laundry facilities at all.

Highly Recommend - great service

Highly recommend staying at Hotel Ehwa, we spent a total of 5 nights here. Firstly, the level of service is wonderful - manager Sean is very warm, accommodating and responsive. Secondly, the location is excellent, you will be walking distance from all the action and close to public transport. Further, the hotel is spotlessly clean and the water cooler on each floor is very handy.

The only drawback is the size of the rooms and the lack of storage - so if you have a lot of luggage or need space then it's something to keep in mind.

Exceptional

We love how accessible it is for commute (near bus station and few minutes walk from subway station). Love How it is just a walking distance to Myeongdong night market and other shops. The room itself is super clean (spilled something and had to wipe it off the floor and can't even see any discoloration with the wet wipes). Staff are so helpful and friendly l (special mention to Sean and Sunny).I would love to stay here again the next time I come back to Seoul. Definitely recommend staying here👌

Easy to navigate to and from subways or shops, once you get a hold of your bearings

I wouldn’t say “don’t like” but it would be great (and also a peace of mind) if there’s an additional lock on the door of each of the assigned the rooms

Excellent Loaction, nice staff but...

Very helpful, flexible and kind staff The location is unbeatable, is just 50-100 meters from Myeongdong shopping street Just few meters away from two subway stations

Roon siza, we were a party of 4 (Family) and with suitcases, it was terrible, we could not open all at same time suitcases, and sometimes one of us had to go to reception to make space for the others. The bathroom basically has no division between the shower and WC, quite difficult to not leave the bath like a soup after a shower.

Great, would stay again.

Quiet and comfortable with lovely, friendly staff. Simple breakfast provided.

The rooms are lovely and new but very small, if I was travelling with others it would have been a squash.

My Ehwa Stay

I love the ambiance of the place everytime were at the lobby it feels like were in a litte forest. Some did say the rooms were quite simple and they were but even with the size it was efficient and very homey. It was just such a pleasant place to stay at.

Itd be a little noisy at night due to the closeness of rooms so whenever someone would be walking around or taking a shower you could hear noises. But over all it was bearable.
