Difficulty getting a refund, the noise, and the condition of the premises — I would not recommend it

There were several flies and no mosquito screens, so during the summer this would be very unpleasant. The only positive point is that the kitchen is well equipped, but you need to buy all the essentials yourself (spices, etc.).

I read the reviews before booking, and I’m glad I did, because the apartment manager indeed asked me for an international bank transfer of 328 euros: 300 euros for the security deposit and 28 euros for the tourist tax. I had already paid the tourist tax through Booking, so I explained that I would not make that transfer. On the first day, I was not given access to the two-level apartment that I had rented because of water damage. Instead, I was accommodated in a smaller one-level apartment for the first night. I requested compensation for that first night spent in the wrong apartment, and it took five calls multiple calls with the manager to finally issued the refund. I truly felt there was bad faith on her part, which is why I did not proceed with the international transfer for the security deposit, out of fear that I would never get the money back. Also, making an international transfer as a tourist is simply not easy depending on the country you are coming from outside Europe (for example: Canada, the United States, etc.). When I finally got access to the correct apartment on the second day, there were visible traces of dried water damage and humidity. One of the balconies was also covered with plastic and sealing tape, which I assume was due to water infiltration issues. I had also read comments about the church bells nearby, and yes, it is definitely irritating, especially on the second level of the apartment, even with the windows and doors closed. The bells ring every 15 minutes from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. I saw the host replying to another guest who mentioned this issue, saying it was “not that bad,” but I can honestly say that if you are looking for peace and quiet, do not rent this apartment because of that. On top of that, the apartment is located under a flight path, so you can hear planes passing overhead. I would not recommend this apartment, especially since it does not have air conditionning. The second level of the apartment gets pretty hot.

I loved the area, the hill isn’t an issue once you realize there are many ways to get to the apartment. It’s in a great place many markets nearby. Lots of scooter parking areas nearby. The mobile key is a genius, never had it before but it’s amazing.

The only thing I didn’t like about the property, it is very dry. Some of the pots and pants don’t function with the stovetop

An unpleasant experience! One day before our coming, we were informed about the location's changed because of the late time of our arriving. The second sugested location, having self checking and most improved conditions than before, more exactly one more living besides those two booked bedrooms and two bathrooms. We were forced to accept, otherwise they would cancel our reservation and made us to lose our money. In fact, there was no second bathroom, and the only existing one, with the exit through the living. We were 5 people and we got 3 towels and 2 dirty beds. The second bedroom, in fact a storage room, having a wet linen, unidentified insects. The host, "amazing" again... We have payed in advance all the costs, including the accomodation and the tourist fee, as she has required. Besides that, when we have arrived at the location, they have requested us to pay one more time the tourist fee, more exactly 20 euros per people. On the avertisement site (on Booking), they have said that the transfer from the airport to the accomodation is free for taxes but ..., again the surprise - they asked us to pay 70 euros for this service. All in all, our vacation was a nightmare and the recommendation is to avoid this property.

very good, recommended

The access key/lock was done remotely via an app and Bluetooth access with details provided by the host on the day of arrival, which is very convenient. The property was clean and cosy. The host replied promptly to my queries and requests. The location was very good and near places I wanted to go to which was very helpful.

The room didn't have the open city view as per photo - probably that room was not available. There was a refundable security deposit of 300 Euro which I didn't know about until the day before arrival and that I had to pay via online transaction (bank transfer). There was an issue with getting the refund back due to delay from the bank to transfer the amount back to me which took over a week.

Nous avez été logés dans un autre logement que celui réservé ! Nous devions être dans le duplex avec terrasse vue sur la rivière et on s’est retrouvé dans un appartement du même bâtiment plus sombre, sans terrasse et moins moderne et pour l’instant aucun remboursement de fait ! La prestation n’est pas là meme ce n’est pas normal de payer le prix d’un duplex moderne avec terrasse vue sur rivière alors que nous n’avons pas eu ce logement
