Excellent overnights in Pompei

It was an excellent experience to meet the nice owner. He was very friendly and so helpful. The location was good, there was a private parking space to keep your car secured in south of Italy, there was included breakfast and a very supportive and helpful owner. I recommemd this place if you plan to stay in Pompeii.

Great stay

We had a great stay at B&B Villa Gaudium. The host was excellent and he went out of his way to accommodate us. A continental breakfast was provided with plenty options. The room was nice and clean. It is about a 20 minute walk to the train station and roughly 30 minute walk to the Pompeii ruins.

No complaints. Would stay here again.

Congenial host made us feel very welcome

Our congenial host was friendly and helpful with suggestions and pamphlets about sights and restaurants. He helped carry in our huge/heavy suitcases and checked several times to make sure our needs were accommodated. Breakfast was plentiful with many different choices. Pompeii was a 10-minute drive away.

Location had no easy walk to restaurants or shops. Not a problem if you go in with that expectation and/or if you have a car to get around. Regarding driving, I was an anxious driver throughout Italy, so take this for what it's worth, but there's a gate that slowly opens for you at this property when you turn in from a busy street: just take a deep breath and don't worry about the traffic you're blocking.

Nice stay in Pompei

Host was very friendly, gave some good directions to restaurant and parking for the Pompei ruins. Omissions were promptly fixed. Breakfast was OK but Italian (of course). Airconditioning was working very nice. Room and bathroom were very spacious.

A comfortable and clean place to relax after a day seeing the sights of Pompei.

The room was clean and comfortable and the host was very accommodating.

It was a little too far from the train station and restaurants. However, the host kindly offered us a ride.

Worth the value for money

The host was such a friendly guy and nice to chat. The room was very clean and the breakfast was good and the place was easy to find and reach by car. In general, we had a pleasant stay.

We were here mid april. The owner was very nice, there is a shared kitchen where you'll be eating breakfast, he allowed us to use the fridge. The toilets are huge, tons of space to move around. Room size is alright, was good enough for us. 5mins away from pompei ruins by car

If you are disabled in any way, do know that you will have to take 4-5 stairs down and up in the morning

Near Pompeii historical area. Nice little garden. The hostess was friendly and helpful.

At breakfast Second morning wasnt butter at all. Somebody took our big bottle of water from the freeser. No fruits.

The location was advertised as just outside the gates of the Pompeii archeological site but it was a $20 euro cab fare to the room. It was walking distance to a large mall though. The wifi was not great.

It was a quiet and calm atmosphere. Very nice and friendly people, we felt very welcome as soon we arrived. We got a good thorough introduction to the place at arrival, very much appreciated. The room and toilet were nice and clean with a wonderful bed. Breakfast included was served ready in the morning in a cosy kitchen with fresh croissants. A place we would recommend to anyone visiting Pompei.

It's hard to mention anything not to like, but if anything, maybe the shower head.

A very lovely B& B in a lovely, gated home, just minutes away from the Pompei Ruins entrance. Free parking was a bonus. We had a beautiful and spacious bedroom with a comfy bed and a delicious breakfast to top it off. What more could you ask for. If I ever come this way again, I will definitely stay here.

simple and fair place worth the price

The bedrooms are beautiful apparently recently renovated. The double bed mattress is good. it's 10 minutes from the Pompei museum scavi by car.

Pillows and mattress on the bunk were very bad. The shower of 2 bedrooms were not working accordingly. The Google maps address didn't match to the place and the street is very busy. the place sign is small. it was difficult to reach the place.

The property is well located and only a short walk into the city. It is clean and comfortable and the shower is excellent.

The breakfast was great. The host was incredibly friendly and very helpful when organising our time. The mattress was very comfy. Everything was super clean. Had an awesome trip. Would definitely recommend and potentially visit again sometime.
