the room was fine for a single traveller. small but comfortable, good location and helpful staff.

The staff were very accommodating and changed me to a smoking room in request very smoothly. The location, close to the Tokyo Metro, JR Ueno Station and the Skyliner station made commuting where I needed to go very easy.
My room was close to an overpass, so it got noisy sometimes, specially late at night.

The hotel and room were clean, and the room size was just right — not too big, but not cramped either. From our window, we could even see the Tokyo Skytree.
The location was perfect. Just behind the building is the Iriya entrance of Ueno Station, and it’s also close to Keisei Ueno Station and Ameyoko Street.
The staff were very accommodating. We stayed for 8 nights and checked out this morning before 7 AM. The receptionist on duty helped us book a taxi and even assisted us with loading our luggage into the taxi.
The hotel also has self-service laundry machines, which was very convenient during our stay.
Overall, it was a very convenient and comfortable experience. We would definitely choose the same hotel again when we return.
