Beautiful property with excellent staff.

This is a beautiful property and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and cared for.

Exercise facility was just okay. It could use some updated equipment.

Great High-End Hotel in a Safe Area

This is a great hotel! I wouldn’t expect anything less from a Hyatt so no real surprise there. It feels much more generic than some of the more boutique hotels we stayed at in Guatemala that really gave you a feel for the culture and architecture of the country, but everything felt new, looked high end, and was tastefully decorated. We arrived in the late morning (around 11) and even though check-in is at 3pm they got our room ready for us quickly and allowed us to check in early (at no extra charge) after just a slight delay. This was completely unexpected and amazing! Other pluses about this hotel: The neighborhood it is in (Zona 10) felt safe to walk around in at night, the rooftop lounge and pool are gorgeous, the restaurant food is pretty good (and there is a decent selection of vegetarian options), and there are motion activated lights by the bed that provide a little bit of illumination without lighting up the whole room if you get up in the middle of the night. The rooms are quite large with huge windows and the shower had good water pressure. Lastly, the hotel throws an awesome New Years Eve Party! The restaurant had a fantastic buffet and live entertainment, and then up on the roof there was a DJ and drink service.

There is no door between the bathroom and bedroom and the bed is right beside the half wall that the sink is up against so if you are up early getting ready the light and sound from the sink area will likely wake up anyone still in bed. Also, rather oddly, the room did not contain a safe (there was a mini-fridge though!). Lastly, be warned that the elevator doors close very quickly and do not appear to contain a sensor as one started to close on me and did not spring back open when it hit my arm.

Schönes Hotel, leider nicht sehr komfortabel

Sehr schöne Einrichtung, sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal, sichere Lage, schnelles Internet. Pool mit schöner Aussucht auf die Stadt und die Vulkane.

Nach einem langen Flug nicht sehr komfortabel. Es wird leider ständig irgendwo laute Musik gespielt. Dies bereits beim Frühstück, der Pool ist ab dem Nachmittag aufgrund ohrenbetäubender Musik nicht mehr zu benutzen. Es hat mich sehr geärgert, da ich gerne den Sonnenuntergang genossen hätte. Zusätzlich wird von Fr-So bis 1 Uhr morgens laute Musik auf der Roof Top Bar und im Bereich der Reception gespielt. Der Bass war bis in die Zimmer zu hören. Nach einem Zimmerwechsel vom 12. in den 9. Stock besser erträglich, jedoch war der Bass immer noch zu hören. In der ersten Nacht wurden um 3 Uhr morgen Wartungsarbeiten an den Leitungsrohren durchgeführt. Ich verstehe nicht, warum der Manager ein so schönes Hyatt zu einem Partyort machen will. Die laute Musik macht leider wirklich vieles kaputt. Für mich nicht die gewohnte Qualität des Hyatt Hotels (verglichen mit Park Hyatt). Bei dem hohen Preis müsste man wirklich etwas Komfort erwarten dürfen. Obwohl das Hotel optisch sehr schön ist, würde ich hier nicht mehr übernachten. Vor allem nicht nach einem langen Flug.

Very nice hotel with great service and a pool on the roof top with amazing view

The pool on the roof top was amazing, the view from up there spectacular. Good gym with everything you need. We stayed in a family room, 2 adults and 2 kids, very spacious and nice. The breakfast buffé was one of the best we’ve had, really great! Service was excellent, very friendly and helpful staff. Perfectly situated close to the AirPort. We had a early morning flight to catch, it took only 15 min to get to the AirPort. Highly recommended.

shower - overhead shower too close to wall, side shower could not be angled. only gave us coffee/cups as if room was occupied by 1 person, not 2. asked for more and they brought one more coffee pod! bar was hired for private party and we were put in a corner for drinks so didn’t feel welcome. restaurant was hired for private party so we went out for dinner. room phone did not work.

Extremely helpful and welcoming staff. Comfortable. Clean. Great breakfast buffet. Rooftop bar. Excellent food. About 15 minutes to airport. They called and scheduled a taxi for us. About $15.00. I was only there from 7pm to 10am the next morning, so not sure about proximity to anything. But in an outer zone... zone 12 I think. Would definitely stay again.

Comfortable and spacious room. Great view from the rooftop pool.

Bathroom wall wasn't clean (brown spots next to the mirror). Only one robe was provided in the room.
