The property was delightful. About five rooms and suites built around a shared courtyard with a plunge pool, it felt like a nice compromise between a private villa and a hotel. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The staff, particularly Maria who prepared breakfast and kept an eye on the place, were lovely. The location, on the edge of the old town, is great, with free parking round the corner (albeit we sometimes had to search for a space) and a short walk to the main attractions and restaurants. The generous breakfasts were slightly different every day, which was nice.
A couple of little things - the air-conditioning was set to switch off automatically after a set period, which was a bit stingy (it was very hot when we were there), and the TV in our room didn't work. I didn't intend to spend much time watching Greek TV anyway, but given that the TV took up space it might as well have been in a functioning state. I wouldn't make a big deal about these points, but they could be improved.

The staff. Especially Maria who made breakfast she treated us like family.
The place smelled bad. The shower had no hot water one night, no water pressure, uncomfortable pillows. The kitchen was barely stocked.
