The breakfast was very good: croissants, Brötchen, cheese, charcuterie, yoghurt, coffee, various brands of milk, orange and other juices, coffee. The chef even offered to prepare us some eggs. We had a nice chat with him over breakfast. The man is very well travelled and knows what he talks about. The penzion (you might call it a small one off-familyhotel with a 10-ish rooms) may seem a bit darkish at entering, but opens to a very spacious courtyard on the first floor, where it's nice reading or having a drink, if you don't want to stay in your room. The place is immaculate and cosy because of all the green (flowers and trees, garden). It was our last stop on our trip before heading home, but we left with a good feeling, knowing we will come back to explore the area and make bicycle trips along the Rhine nearby. Moreover, there's a very good restaurant around the corner: Tutto Pizza da Tomasso in Oestrich-Winkel, a beautiful upscale restaurant with winter garden and immense terrace, but with good prices and consistent dishes with an authentic taste. So, if you're in the neighborhood, you definitely can't go wrong staying nor eating here. We loved it. Probably because the chef of Rheingauer Hof made us feel welcome. Thank you!

Le cadre est très agréable, avec une vue panoramique depuis la terrasse ombragée de notre chambre, à laquelle donnaient directement les deux portes-fenêtres. Nos déplacements, que ce soit en voiture ou en Ferry, ont été très faciles. Nous avons également particulièrement apprécié le respect, la discrétion et l’accueil de nos hôtes. Je recommande vivement !
