Paid more for this tiny room than I paid for a 5 stars resort for the same number of days and was just exteremly disappo

The owner provided useful tips like taxi number and such.

Huge disappointment! Not worthy of of half of what I paid for it. I couldn’t stay for the full 4 nights and had to move to a different place. -The island view villa/suite is just a small basement. -The bed is small my feet were hanging while I slept. The sink is in the same place as the bed; the bed is in the bathroom! -Bathroom hot water runs out after 10 minutes. And doesn’t come back for the rest of the day. And the hot/cold mixer doesn’t work, you either get boiling hot water or icy cold water!!!! -bathroom door handle is shaky and looks like it is going to break any second. - I am 180cm and my head is almost touch the ceiling, the cluster-phobia is badd! -The furniture are so old its like they haven’t been changed for 15 years. -The flooring looks and feels weird and not clean. -The place is extremely small!! We couldn’t have 1 bag open on the ground and be able to move around at the same time. -Centipedes! Lots of them! -Under-equipped! Had 1 hand soap provided which had its nozzle barely working. -The entrance stairways the leads down to the room look unwelcoming. -The outside is not lit at night and the sound of dogs barking when you go for dinner -The jacozi tub has chlorine stains and does not look cleaned for new residents.

perfekt cocooning

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away. Ornella, our smiling host was waiting for us. Her warmth and support was much appreciated throughout the stay. She shared invaluable tips about the local area and we had delightful conversations about the island's rich culture. The Island view studio had a stunning panorama that remains vivid in our minds. The majestic mountain and breathtaking turquoise lagoon provided a magical backdrop. Each dawn and dusk felt like a living dream. The private jacuzzi was the epitome of luxury in this little paradise. Perfectly situated under little solar fairy lamps that set the evening mood, it was our sanctuary where we could appreciate ultimate comfort. To sum up, the studio was comfortable, convenient, every inch thoughtfully decorated for a memorable experience accompanied by a heartfelt hospitality. We would not hesitate to revisit and recommend to anyone looking for a real island escape.

This place is hard to leave, we are sad to be back home and already miss the view

Adventurous but relaxing holiday

Our stay at the Studio was absolutely fantastic. The location is perfect, between sea and mountains, with breathtaking views of the lagoon. The serene environment provided a peaceful escape from our usual bustling city life. Ornella was very welcoming. She shared valuable tips for activities and must do experiences. We particularly appreciated her guidance on using the air conditioning effectively to fight the humidity, a common factor in Mauritius. This information was helpful, making our stay much more comfortable. The highlight was the jacuzzi. Following the checkin instructions allowed us to fully enjoy this luxurious oasis for a much needed relaxation time. Surrounded by nature, we definitely recommend the Studio : an idyllic getaway. We even saw deers.

The only negative side is that it is hard to leave that place :(

Perfect place for nature lovers

Lagoon view villa was everything promised in the descriptions. Two bed rooms with double beds and bath rooms, big kitchen, and a big terrace with great views and abundant vegetation (and nice birds). Really silent and relaxing neighborhood. Very nice beach quite close as well as opportunity to mountain climbing which was highly appreciated :). Washing machine was a nice plus. We did not have any issues with mosquitos as we closed the doors after sunset. We surely enjoyed our staying!

These are not really complaints but just notes. Villa can accommodate maximum of 5 persons but the sofa is not very comfortable and there is no air conditioning in the living room. Road to the property is partly in a quite bad condition so needs careful driving as does the parking. Only one restaurant nearby but others in 10 mins drive in the village where also well-equipped supermarket is located.

Fabulous Villa with plenty to do and Ornella was always on hand to ask seer any queries or issues.

the location and view were amazing. Shirt drive to the beach. Ornella the host was most helpful and setup a nice surprise bottle of champers and birthday decorations on arrival.

Location, view and outside patio area was so relaxing.

Highly recommended. Amazing view

Great apartment (the lagoon view villa). Clean and fully equiped kitchen. Large terrace with an amazing 180 view over the sea, lagoon and mountains with all the furniture you need. Very friendly and helpful landlords

No dislikes but be aware that you need a car. 10 min drive to supermarkedet and beaches

Secret place with best view on le Morne

I really enjoyed the view from the terrace, specially at breakfast. The view from the jacuzzi is amazing. The place is so quiet and peaceful. You can only hear birds songs. There are a lot of places to explore in the surroundings and a variety of activities like dolphin swim, kitesurfing, hiking leMorne mountain, snorkeling. The host is very nice mauritian/island girl and she gives very useful tips.

Jacuzzi with the best view

Very nice host, providing useful insights regarding the surroundings, foodie places and must do activities. The Island View Studio is perfect with a private jacuzzi having the best view on the lagoon. Definitely recommend, specially if you enjoy outdoor living.

FANTASTIC getaway at the hidden gem of Le Morne!

The view from the Villa is absolutely stunning. The area is peaceful and the location is fabulous if you want to discover the southern part of the island (Le Morne, Chamarel, Flic en Flac, Tamarin, Georges National Park etc). We booked just a few nights here at Kozy before heading up north and this was a terrible idea - we should have stayed our whole trip here! Just a few minutes by car from the nicest (IMO) beach (Le Morne Beach at the Dunrobin Resort), Le Morne Brabant trail entrance, kitesurfing lagoon and more. The villa is super clean, spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is very well-equipped so you can easily cook your own meals especially with a big supermarket in the neighboring village of La Gaulette, but if you want to eat out, there are a few restaurants in the neighborhood as well (however nothing beats the breakfast on the deck with the lagoon view and friendly birds coming to say hi). Ornella (the owner) was extremely friendly and helpful every step of the way, always happy to give recommendations and ensure the stay is pleasant. WiFi was very fast which was great, if you are on the home office. The pool was well maintained, perfect for an early morning or a sunset dip with a glass of wine. The stay at Kozy exceeded our expectations and we will definitely recommend it to friends and family should they ever go to Mauritius. Thank you for everything, Kozy!

Everything was perfect and I have absolutely nothing to complain about! Friendly advice though - make sure to close the windows in the evening before turning the lights on in the house - geckos just wait to come in lol! Also, there are steep steps to get down to the villa, so if you have trouble going up and down the stairs this may not be a great option for you and I do recommend renting a car given the villa is located on the side of the mountain. Pack lightly!

Fantastic stay at Kozy Le Morne.

Host was amazing: very friendly and helpful in answering queries. Made us Ti Punch one evening and had a nice chat which was very nice and great to learn more about Mauritius. Jacuzzi and decking area overlooking the sea and islands was fantastic and provided a relaxing atmosphere. Very nice restaurant walking distance.

Very very minor point but only one stove available for cooking. Would have been useful to have a second.

Nice location outside of the touristy area

The location was very peaceful and not as touristy as Le Morne on average. We had really nice views to the sea. The tiny apartment was very cozy and clean.

We didn't quite know how / where to pick up the keys so we had to wait in pouring rain with our luggage for some time. The hotel didn't have breakfast, but luckily there was a nice restaurant just a couple of minutes by foot. If you stay here, we recommend that you have a car or scooter to get around. Also, it's good to know that the closest grocery store is about 6 km away in La Gaulette. We didn't even find a kiosk to buy water from in Le Morne, at least not in the evening.
