Great location, right next to the beach, harbour, arcade and town. Our rooms were tidy and had everything you needed for a short stay. Lovely host and tasty breakfast.
Mattresses in both rooms had indents so not the comfiest, walls were quite thin so you could hear people & TVs above & below. We often got wafts of cigarette smoke in the back bedroom and the street was a bit rowdy one night, but not the b&b’s fault. Breakfast was nice but it might’ve helped to know the limited options in advance as it meant my son struggled. If you like a fry up you’re set! They also offer toast and cereal so it’s not that limited but sadly anything outside that like a pancake or soft boiled egg wasn’t possible. Might be helpful for others to know the only sitting was 8.30, even being 10 mins early caused the cook to be upset but as I say food was tasty and guests all felt comfortable chatting to one another. Parking is very limited outside, permits are available if you’re lucky enough to get a space, but if not I’d read recommendations to use a car park in the street behind - not sure if it was a high season restriction but there was a 3 hours limit so we used the bigger car park on the front instead which was about £15 a day.
