We had a lovely stay here. We were welcomed by Martin and Maxine, the owner of this guest house. She had decorated it with passion and love for what she does. She makes a wonderful breakfast, cooked to your liking. The guest house is positioned near all the shops, restaurant, beach and fun park. We had a good nights sleep. The room was quiet. Great place to stay. Thank you Maxine for letting us stay at your guest house.

Nothing really. I would have liked breakfast tea bags in room not just herbal. As I don’t drink coffee.

The location, the beautiful terrace and breakfast room, the delicious breakfast
When I arrived I was told that my shower was out of order due to a guest having to be removed from the property by police the night before (which didn’t make me feel very safe). Instead of being offered an alternative room or a discount I was told that another shower would be available and a bathrobe provided- it turned out however that there were 4 flights of stairs between my room and this shower! Not great news after a hike and in a heatwave.
When I raised this I was offered a discount, but the way it was handled felt unprofessional: a) I didn’t need to know about the police matter and b) I’d paid for a private bathroom, so I should have been offered some remedy immediately, rather than having to argue for it.
