The location of the guesthouse was quiet but convenient for visiting the main attractions of the city. The host provided everything we could possibly need for our stay (toiletries, beverages, appliances, information about the area...) and it was easy to communicate with her via whatsapp.
The common areas could get quite hot, and soundproofing wasn't great, but everyone was quiet and respectful so it wasn't an issue.

Absolutely perfect traditional house, loved to sleep in a fouton and the Japanese minimalist room style. In the heart of the Geisha tranquil neighborhood.

Good location, well stocked kitchen and bathroom. This is a small hostel with 4 bedrooms and shared living room, bathroom and kitchen. We rented the whole place. Quiet location close to Higashi- character.
Living space not very comfortable. No chairs or sofa, only low stools. Beware parking is close and paid, but not expensive.
