Locatie Helemaal top, heerlijk gegeten en geslapen

Locatie en de oude charme. Ook kun je heerlijk eten in het restaurant beneden.

Tip: een water koker op de kamer voor thee en koffie.

Great location, clean/comfortable accomodations, good restaurant too :)

The place was very nice, I really liked my room. The restaurant was really good, and served me even upon a late arrival, which was very appreciated. The woman who runs the place is very cool and helpful, and I really appreciated her input about Japan. Also, the location is a short walk to the main garden and Castle in Kanazawa. If you need breakfast, there is a good simple cafe really close, on a corner nearby.

Beautiful place in a quiet neighborhood next to Kenroku-en Garden.

Gorgeous place! Twin room beds were very comfy. Kanazawa nights are cold but the heaters work great and the room was always toasty (one of the Japanese-style rooms also has a kotatsu). Quiet neighborhood full of beautiful old houses, walking distance to Kenroku-en garden and Kanazawa Castle. Restaurant is spectacular (and very reasonably priced), ate there twice. Be aware that 3 out of 4 rooms are up a rather steep staircase, so people with mobility issues might want to request the first floor room. Shower & toilet are shared (there's a lovely local bathhouse nearby as well). This place feels more like a private home than a hotel and as such won't have a lot of the amenities you'd find in a hotel (24 hour staff presence, immediate access to transportation or convenience stores), but the kind owners are always nearby and respond immediately to phone calls. The area is residential but the bus stop is only a 2 minute walk away, and convenience stores / restaurants are a ten minute walk. If you want an affordable local experience that doesn't compromise on comfort, this is the place!

A great experience all around. Even if you don't stay here, you must eat here.

The location of Atsushi is perfect. It's minutes away from the main bus routes. It's in a quiet neighbourhood and within a ten-minute walk to Kenrokuen and fifteen minute walk to the geisha districts. The sushi was so good and so fresh we ate here every day. The prices are very reasonable considering you're getting sushi from an actual trained sushi chef. We had wonderful hosts who gave us information about the Kanazawa and made our trip easy. We arrived as guests and left as friends.

Nothing really. Just keep in mind that this is more like a vacation rental than a B & B so you are usually left alone. This suits us perfectly, but for those who seek hotel amenities and turn-down service, this may not be the place for you. It's a little far from the nightlife district but for us that wasn't a concern.
