Lovely staff, large and comfortable room with a great view. The restaurant was excellent too.
Nothing - all good!

I chose this hotel for its location near the main attraction of the city, the beautiful Kenroku-Koen and the castle grounds. Strangely, there are only few hotels near this main attraction. The hotel has a modern dining area near the entrance with an open kitchen for customers to watch the chefs. The food was very good but expensive.
For some reason, the hotel booked us as a family with kids and provided us with a tiny room without windows and a tatami two-level bunk. No beds. As this was really not acceptable we tried to get another room, only to find out that the hotel was fully booked. This was the only downer on our 5-week travel.

Rooms are new and clean, very comfortable. We had a nice view of the park.
