A little out of town but worth it.

The host family were the best people you could meet after a long flight. Big smiles and super helpful. The single room was very well priced and exceptionally clean. They have a wonderful little daughter who spoke amazing english and came along on the tuk tuk which the father drove to give me a lift to the dambulla town. Sad I couldn’t stay for longer— best start to my trip!

Tuk tuks to places, but it’s the same in most areas around here!

Everything was very well done

The hosts were extremely friendly. The breakfast prepared by them was very much to our taste. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The view from the property is amazing. The location is very good, very quiet place but still very good accessible. Thank you again!

Superb

We booked the Standard Twin Room, it is a lot of ants in the room near the window. The owner upgraded us to the Double room with private bathroom, which was large, really comfortable and well equipped. The owners were very nice and helpful, e.g. they booked us a tuk tuk in very early morning. We rent there a scooter to go to Sigiriya and the city center. The location of the house is outside of the city in a quiet neighbourhood but not far away from the city.

Very calm environment and I like the stay.

It was very clean, beds were very clean, bathroom was very clean. The environment was also very nice for us. Very calm environment was there.

Although at the first place there was hot water. But after that there was no hot water coming out from the taps. The shower is somewhat different from the usual.

the host was really kind and gave us a lot of tips for things to do and also organized that. breakfast was great and the location of the hostel next to rice fields was beautiful and quiet. all in all a Perfect stay.

I have been to many hostels in Sri Lanka, but this one is my favorite. The smiling face of this hotel owner welcomed us warmly, All the rooms were found to be fresh and fragrant. The hotel is located in the middle of fields and small canals with very beautiful scenery This hotel is ideal for both foreign and Sri Lankan vacationers. Prices are all very low,

The place is very calm, quiet and clean.

I had a delicious breakfast at the hotel. Amila (the owner) is much courteous and he arranged the breakfast in the garden. so I could taste my breakfast freely.

Be sure to stay at this accommodation, because it was one of the best accommodations I had in Sri Lanka, and I was also in luxury hotels. This accommodation has a soul, as soon as you enter you will be greeted by the smell of incense sticks, large rooms, perfectly clean rooms and the view of the rice fields from the roof is so soothing. Always smiling is a matter of course. If you are experiencing stress, this place will cure you. And as a bonus, the owner loves animals and takes good care of them. excellent breakfast, calm and peaceful place, excellent host,

A peace of heaven included first class service

Abi and his family are wonderful hosts. We arrived unexpected very early in the morning, nevertheless he welcomed us warmly, served some cups of great tea and prepared our rooms in a couple of minutes. Simply amazing :) Furthermore he organized a perfect tour for our next day. We found the rooms very clean and totally quiet. The whole place looks like a paradise out of palms and nice plants. The perfect place to relax. You should try the fresh served dinners if possible - very nice taste.
