This comfortable, beautifully renovated holiday cottage is located in a private gated compound very near Aix-en-Provence. The hosts live there, and there is one more holiday cottage on the property. The pool is shared among the three parties. The city center of Aix can be reached on foot, bus service is also available. Accessing the property for the first time is adventurous, as it is located on a steep hillside with two sharp turns, and the signage is very discrete. But after the first access, it is really no problem at all, neither on foot nor by car. The property itself is beautiful and beautifully cared for. If you are looking for peace on earth, this is your place. Lovely private outside seating on a generous grassy lawn. The cottage itself is open plan, although the bedroom area is separated from the living area by a half wall and a heavy curtain. The renovation is new, modern, and has a beautiful Provence look, done in the best materials. Very good quality beds and linen. The air conditioning is adequate to cool the entire cottage. The kitchen is modern, clean, simple, adequate for simple food preparation. But do yourself a favor, use the wonderful local restaurants and return in the evening with fresh bread, some olives, and a bottle of the local wine, sit outside and watch the sun go down! Coffee capsules are provided for the Keurig machine, as well as a couple of basics, like olive oil and salt. Regarding the hosts, I cannot say enough good things about Florence and Laurent. They were kind, helpful, friendly, patient, usually available without being in any way intrusive. Florence has put together a lot of helpful information in the house brochure. I encourage anyone who wants elegant, peaceful, and private accommodation near Aix-en-Provence to consider le Mas.
For the fit, a combination of walking and bus is very possible, but do note that having a car is the easiest way to reach this accommodation.

Absolut ruhig gelegenes kleines Ferienhaus auf großem Grundstück, bestens ausgestattet, schöner Pool nebenan, idealer Ausgangspunkt, um Aix und die Umgebung zu erkunden. Die Vermieterfamilie ist sehr sympathisch!!!

Sehr komfortables alleinstehendes Häuschen mit allem was man braucht. Starke Klimaanlage und sehr gutes stabiles WLAN. Der grosse Swimming Pool lädt zu einer Abkühlung ein. Und last but not least: Florence war eine sehr aufmerksame Gastgeberin!
Naja - die Auffahrt ist je nach Fahrzeug „spannend“:-)

Die Unterkunft steht auf einem privaten Gelände auf dem es nur das Haupthaus der Familie und zwei kleine Ferienhäuser gibt. Das Ferienhaus ist voll ausgestattet mit Backofen, Mikrowelle, Waschmaschine, Spülmaschine ect
Der Pool ist recht groß und es gab extra Poolhandtücher
Wir haben es sehr genossen draußen im Garten zu frühstücken und zu relaxen
Florence ist eine sehr zuvorkommende und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin, die uns viele Tips für unseren Aufenthalt gegeben hat
Die Auffahrt zum Gelände ist tatsächlich sehr steil, aber es geht.
Wir sind einmal nach Aix gelaufen, aber auf dem Rückweg geht es bergauf und bei Sonne ist es nicht zu empfehlen, da sollte man ein Taxi oder Uber nehmen (10-12€)
Das Bad ist sehr klein, aber gut ausgestattet
