Great position for visiting St Albans. Lovely room overlooking the cathedral.

I suggest a full length mirror in the bedroom.

Close to the centre of town, with on-site parking. Great rooms and very clean
Self check in worked well except the room keys are a little tricky to find because they are partially obscured by a pillar

Nice location to the place I was attending, nice room, bed etc.
The response from the owner when I contacted her about the issue below was very prompt and apologietic, thank you.
The room was not ready when I arrived i.e. still not cleaned from the previous occupant(s) stay despite me arriving after the 2pm check in time. The owner (?) was contacted who very quickly attended and organised for cleaners to attend as well as directing me to a downstairs shower that I could use, not ideal, but was better than waiting for the room to be cleaned so that I could shower and get changed. Unfortunately this still meant that I was delayed in attending a friend's memorial service missing many of the speeches.
