State of the art facilities, ideally placed geographically with local knowledge bonus

Ideally placed geographically, we chose this B&B for its location and facilities: 1. 20 minute walking distance to Herculaneum Archeological site 2. 10min walk from the accommodation to Portici-Erculano station + 20 minute train ride to Pompeii Archeological site. 3. 20 minute walking distance to the Mount Vesuvius bus meeting/ticket point 4. Abundance of restaurants/takeaways/supermarkets in the locality - several tasty gelaterias The owner is very friendly and loaned us a very useful umbrella for the sun/rain - I don’t know why we didn’t bring one. Provided a lovely bottle of wine. Provided local knowledge you cannot put a price on: 1. Recommended several restaurants and booked one for us. 2. Offered to book a taxi for us, but we wanted to try the train/bus. 3. Advised the way to local places such as Herculaneum Excellent facilities: air conditioning, strong WiFi, good shower, espresso coffee machine available + tea available in the room, fridge to keep the milk/water cool, drinkable water, a large TV (although we didn’t use it). Comfortable bed. It has everything you would need. A home from home and we were lucky to find availability. If you schedule less than 3 days to see Mount Vesuvius, Pompeii and Herculaneum you will only get a taste of the UNESCO world heritage sites here and miss out on the full experience. Highly recommended.

The weather can be unpredictable, so you have to have plan for this - should have brought an umbrella, and a small bag for the archeological sites.

Excellent location, exceptional clean rooms and a great host.

A great place to stay. Decent size rooms that are clean and appear to be recently modernised. Our room had a balcony that overlooked the town square. You could sit there and watch the Italians go about their business. The host provided us with a free bottle of Wine and snacks as we checked in. A lovely touch. The bed was comfortable, air conditioner was installed to make you room comfortable to the right temperature. The train station was only a 5 minute walking distance. Naples and Pompeii with in easy commute and cheap too. Only £3.40 for both of us. The breakfast consisted of cereals, breads, butter and Jam and cakes which we took with us to Pompeii to have later. Milk, juice and coffee were placed in the fridge, adjacent to the tea making facilities. Would I stay here again, its a definite YES. Than you for making our stay enjoyable.

Even though the station is only 5 minutes away, the cobbled stone pavement and road would make it difficult to pull the suitcases. This has nothing to do with the hotel though.

We spent almost a week here and it felt like home. Paola is one of the nicest hosts we have ever met! She was very polite and helped us to organize some of our trips. 10/10 would recommend this place. The price was totally fine - with breakfast, coffee … If we had any question, Paola was reachable within 5 minutes. We would stay 100% a second time. Thanks to you Paola, you made this trip very special for us. Sending you hugs and kisses, the three girls from Alto Adige🤗

Exceptional

We booked a quadruple room which was more like an apartment. There was a fridge with milk, juice and other goodies along with tea and coffee making facilities. Our hostess, Paula was very helpful and welcoming . The accommodation was very spacious and comfortable. The location was excellent near lots of good restaurants and cafes .An excellent base to explore the delights of Naples and Herculaneum.A real home from home , highly recommended.

Couldn’t have been a better place to stay! We already have reservations for our return.

It was cheerful, clean and comfortable. The staff was so welcoming and helpful, as we were new to Italy altogether. Everything we needed was available for us. They made our stay a perfect one!

everything was great from the first moment. Paola is excellent host and she made our stay at her place amazing. Apartment is in the middle, between the city centre and Pompeii so it is a great choice if you are up to exploring the popular locations. Everything was very clean and tidy, and she was at our disposal for all of our questions. Across the apartment there is a pizza shop and cake shop which we found very convenient. We will certainly come back!

It was near to everything with a wonderful view to Vesuvio. The room was just as big as it needed to be, it was cleaned and filled up with food everyday. The hosts were relly kind and helpful with good recomnendations.

Very well located, we found it convenient to access Napoli, Pompeii and Mt Vesuvius. We also found the location convenient for eating options in Portici. The apartments are nicely furnished, clean and well maintained. Paola is fantastic. She ensured we were well taken care of, checking in with us periodically. Very happy with our stay.

Really loved the hosts of this B&B, they were supportive and available throught our stay. Location was perfect as well - right in the centre of Portici. Public transport was available close-by. Our room was very clean and was cleaned every day. Loved this place!

Would go back!

Super service by Rosella and Paola! Very nice apartment, spacious, 2-storey room with balcony overlooking the central square Portici, with soundproof windows. Comfortable bed, TV, nice bathroom, air-conditioner, refrigerator in a room. Despite the central location in the city, it’s a quiet and lovely place! 10 min. walk to port, beach and restaurant line. Railway takes you to Napoli ca 7,5 km, Sorrento ca 21 km. Portici Express bus takes to mount Vesuvio ca 10 km. Herculaneum site preservation is ca 1,2 km. I also suggest to visit Orto Botanical Garden of Portici garden and it’s historical buildings with super wall paintings. Really great location and great hotel.

It was spacious, modern and full of light. The beds were really comfy. Paula and Rosella were amazing and helpful to help with issues with Booking, finding a nice restaurant and renting a car at a really good price. We strongly recommend the place. Location is perfect to visit Napoli and Pompéi that you can reach easily by train. it is also a perfect location with Netflix available for kids after a long walking day.

The entrance is not nice. But Inside is super good. Is not so close to the center of naples. But it is a good place to stay anyway.

Host is extremely helpful. Close to naples and pompei for day trips. Also many restaurants close by to eat in and not expensive. Being 10mins from train station is ideal for on the go.

I wouldn't recommend anything different nearby, it's definitely a top choice!

The owner is super friendly and makes you feel comfortable straightaway. The place is just supercool and very well furnished, with an awesome balcony overlooking the city main square.
