Comfy beds, hot shower, views from your room. Friendly staff, great food. Ideal place to stop on your Quilitoa loop walk.
I wouldn't change anything. Just a quick note that the town itself is small and there aren't really any lunch options if you arrive early but that has nothing to do with the property.

Great location, the showers were actually really good, everything was very clean, and the food was good too.
We felt a bit rushed during both dinner and breakfast (we were in and out in about 15 min). We also didn’t love the fixed 7:30 am breakfast time. We understand we’re doing an active activity, but we’re also on vacation and wanted to take things a little slower, which didn’t really feel possible. At the other hostels we stayed at along the loop, we had the option to have breakfast anytime between 7:30 and 9 am, which made a big difference. We also found it a little disappointing that coffee wasn’t included outside of breakfast and had to be paid for separately.
The communal areas were very cold in the evening (we were all wearing our puffer jackets inside). Our room was also quite noisy; we were on the bottom floor and could hear every step from the room above. The noise from the room above woke us up around 1 am till late.

- The outdoor space with the hammocks, garden, and mountain views is really really nice. We spent quite a bit of time here in the afternoon after we finished our hike.
- They have a little shop at the front too which was useful.
- There is free water to fill your bottles.
- Room was pretty basic but okay.
- The vegetarian option was the same as the non-veg option just minus the meat. This was disappointing as we were asked about dietaries weeks in advance.
- We were 8 people that night (7 guys and 1 girl) and while the dinner food was good, it wasn’t enough (rather small portions for everyone after a big day of hiking).
- Hot water only worked for us for maybe 2 minutes.
