The building is old. There is no air fan. It costs 20€, but it is not there. The house is dirty. It is not a suitable place to sleep

Disappointing. Not returning nor recommending this place to anyone

the apartment had 1 private bedroom and a spacious living room. That was the only decent thing about the apartment.

The building is not a residential building. That is a wrong expectation set by the host. The building is something of a "Student House/Hostel". Totally what we were NOT looking for! And that should be in the description of the rental so people know what to expect! The sheets and pillows did NOT smell fresh! Which is disgusting to say the least! There was NO internet in the apartment. There should be internet, as the information panflet was explaining about, but once we tried to find the WIFi, it didn't exist. We called the host and he was nothing but useless and unfriendly stating that the router for the apartment was located on another apartment and that "someone on the other apartment must have turned off the wifi and there was nothing he would do about it" To finish up, we were asked to leave behind 3€ in cash for the so called "tourism tax". Which left us very uncomfortable since normally all the payment is done via Booking and not "by request". It was extremely inconvenient since we don't normally walk around with cash and had to chase an ATM at early hours in the morning to comply with the request. We are not from Austria, so we decided to leave the money behind instead of refusing this somewhat strange request, because we don't know how things work there. But let it be known that it makes no sense to be asked to bring money with you, on a rental made via Booking. Otherwise, why use Booking at all?!

Go anywhere else….run!

nothing. awful.

where do i start?!! getting a key was a nightmare. long ways. rough hood. no contact info, not marked AT ALL, etc. finally get info and meet a skechy lady. no internet. fridge is beyond filthy. broken door for zero security. no blankets. if this were the last lodging option in Graz, i would buy a refrigerator and then sleep in the box. all time worst. if this were $20 a night….i get it. its not.

Worst one ever booked at booking.com

Nothing to like about

I am wondering why this place even on the booking.com. The host almost never respond no matter how many times I ask. The place is smelly and dirty. There are only 2 pillows and NO blankets or comforter. People supposed to sleep on that??? There two times someone knocking the door violently. We were so scared. Will never go to Graz!!! Wondering booking.com list such a trash place. You don’t have any verification process in place when list a private home??? If it listed at Airbnb I understand

Passable

The apartment was not really clean. We found spiderwebs in the corners of almost every room including bathroom. The closet in the bedroom is breaking apart, it is not safe to use anymore. However, the biggest issue was the quality of the mattresses. They were very soft, and one could not sleep on it properly.

You will regret booking this apartment

Nothing despite the "low" price. The price offered on booking for 2 people is roughly 15 EUR under the price for fully furnished apartments with western standard, for 3 people even more expensive. This apartment should not be offered here. I was fooled by the pictures and some positive reviews (I have no clue how someone can give this location 7.0) and did not read enough to also see the 1.0 reviews. Avoid this apartment, you will regret it. For a little more you can rent apartments that meet european standard. There is a banner on the building that says worker apartments & student apartments starting from 20 € per night. You can imagine what will expect you, but when you read the "didnt like" section below you will still be dazzled. We moved out early as I couldnt expect my wife and her mother to stay in this apartment alone and further did not feel safe myself.

1.) Main problem is that the security is a NoGo: The apartment is not in the best area of the city. Immigrants, vagabonds and a social shelter across the street. Despite that the entry door into the building is open 24/7, anyone can enter anytime. There is a videocamera on the inside, but what does it help? The entry doors into the apartments are interior doors, with hinges on the outside. All you need is a heavy screwdriver to force the door or hinges open. The security situation is unacceptable for women, but also as a men you have a bad feeling and do not want to leave any valuables in the apartment. 2.) The apartment is supposed to be a No Smoking apartment, but it was soaked in smoke when we entered. The smoke has penetrated the worn down sofa, matraces, bed sheets. Everything has a bad smell. 3.) The apartment is run down, not maintenanced and low standard. The balcony in the kitchen does not close properly, the electric heating panel in the living room does not work, there is no radiator in the bathroom. It must be incredible cold in the winter, it was already fresh now at the beginning of October (see also other user comments that stayed there in winter). 4.) What does it matter after reading points 1.) to 3.) but there is no wash machine, no useable coffee machine, some cups, glasses, cutlery and pots. Far away from a functional apartment in which you fell good and would want to cook something.
