About this condo rental
Located in Woodstock, this attractive condo for $175 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Escape to one of the prettiest towns in America. Make your vacation a quiet visit in a quintessential, charming apartment close to it all. We offer a ideal vacation rental: one bedroom log home apartment in the woods within walking distance of the Woodstock village center. The vacation rental apartment is 900 square feet and sleeps up to 4 people, 2 on a new queen sofa bed with tempurpedic mattress. There is a separate bedroom with queen bed. The full kitchen opens to the large living room with cathedral ceiling. Full size appliances include a brand new stainless steel refrigerator, stove, oven, dishwasher and both a washer and dryer. Enjoy cable, flat screen TV and wireless internet (WiFi). We do not permit smoking or pets. The apartment is a short, 1/4-mile walk to the heart of the village. We have wonderful shops, a beautiful library, several covered bridges, many highly-rated restaurants and a National Park. THINGS TO DO AND SEE: FITNESS CENTER 1 mile south Movie theatre 1 minute away. QUECHEE GORGE 10 minutes. 4 top notch LIVE THEATERS within 20 minutes (2 in Woodstock) Opera and Ballet BILLINGS FARM AND MUSEUM 2 minutes away Mt. Tom which overlooks the village is a national park, and there are 2 state parks within 20 minutes. 3 local BREWERIES 15 minutes PRESIDENT COOLEDGE'S BIRTHPLACE AND MUSEUM 20 minutes. MORE TO DO: The VERMONT INSTITUTE OF NATURAL SCIENCE 10 minutes. It is a place for raptors to heal. Live demonstrations. King Arthur Flour home 20 minutes Check out TUPELOHALL for acts such as Joan Baez, Natalie McMaster, Livingston Taylor or comedy night. Bob coordinates Mixed Doubles TENNIS three mornings a week and offers guests an opportunity to participate in this activity. Call him for more information. We also participate in ballroom and contra DANCING in and around the area and would be happy to provide you with information on these and other indoor activities during our winter season. The apartment was nice and had everything we needed for our family with young children. We had our kids sleep on the pullout couch in the living room. The bedroom is very nice. FYI for those with small kids there is only a small standing shower. Bob was very kind to meet with us when we first arrived. We just had a little trouble figuring out where the apartment was when we arrived, but otherwise pretty smooth. They kindly set out children's books for us to use, as well as a child seat. There were definitely a decent amount of spider webs along the ceiling and we found a couple of spiders, which I struggled with because I have a pretty bad phobia. But overall it was a nice place to stay with easy access to the town and everything you would want to do. Also, for those with small kids they so nicely provided a baby gate for the top of the stairs.

Bob and Sherrys place was the perfect place to stay in Woodstock! My husband and I stayed with our 1 year old, Bob was kind enough to set up a baby gate for us that was a huge help! The house is immaculate and has the best location. Bob gave us some helpful tips to get around town easier! They couldn’t have been more helpful! Highly recommend!

This property is conveniently located just out of downtown. We were happy to find this nice, new apartment with all the amenities. We ate in and found the kitchen well stocked, but restaurants were a short walk away. Great find!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Bob & Sherry's place in Woodstock. The apartment is private, right above the garage, with a great kitchen, comfortable living room, and spacious bedroom. When we arrived the place was clean, organized and our hosts had set a "dinner for two" place setting on the kitchen island - a nice touch that made us feel welcome! Windows all around provide natural light throughout.
The location is fantastic. Just up a hill from the center of the village and all Woodstock's shopping and restaurants. You can walk to town easily, just remember Vermont is hilly so you'll need to head back up!
Our hosts were friendly and very helpful. They provided guides, info and maps in the unit, and both Sherry and Bob told us about some great places when we met in person.
This is a great place to stay in the "prettiest town in America".

This beautiful modern log home is super convenient to town and to many interesting sites within 20 miles. Food, fairs, and markets are excellent, especially the Woodstock Farmers Market, open daily with amazing quality foods and flowers. The above garage apartment was laid out nicely with minimal but adequate supplies like S&P, tissue, but no coffee or condiments. Linens were fresh, bed had mattress topper and had a softer mattress. Views from the windows and entire apt could be enhanced by a yearly deep cleaning. The climate control was excellent, even on the hottest days. We had a great week and only wished that we had met our host, though we did chance to see his wife once in the yard.

Perfect Base for Fall Get Away
Excellent stay! Or plans were rained out for a couple of days and Bob promptly responded with excellent suggestions on other activities for us to see.
Easy walk (6 minutes) down the hill to downtown.
Property was easy to access, very clean, and plenty spacious. This was a great stay, and Bob was fantastic.

This garage apartment is the perfect location from which to explore Woodstock and the surrounding areas. The apartment is well-stocked but I might recommend bringing your own pillow. We enjoyed being able to open the windows and letting in the cool night air.

Woodstock log house
The house was clean, spacious and well designed. Very comfortable. Our temporary landlord (Bob) went to great lengths to inform us of recreational opportunities in the Woodstock Vermont area, even giving us coupons for venue entry, and loaning us a state park pass. Thanks Bob!

Bob’s place is very close to the Green in Woodstock so the location couldn’t be better. Bob was also very helpful as a host, answering any questions I had and making every effort to ensure we enjoyed our time. We felt like we were staying in a log cabin, but with all the modern amenities you’d need. Would stay again in a heartbeat-
