The Shepherd's Hut is amazing in a great location with lovely views all around. It is situated overlooking the farm and a variety of animals who are mostly quiet. It's good that there is only one hut, so if you're looking for peace and quiet, this is where you'll find it. The Hut itself has everything you could need for a break away. It is comfortable and large enough for two people to enjoy. The outdoor seating area and the ready to use firepit make being outside a pleasure. There was a welcome basket left by the owners, which had fresh eggs, milk and treats, including marshmallows for roasting and popcorn kernels to pop on the firepit. The hosts, especially Kate, were warm and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. It's like a hidden paradise in the middle of the country. Thank you for making our Anniversary very special, we look forward to going back next year ❤️
Having to go home, it's truly a wonderful place to get away from it all.

Lovely location, very peaceful and had all we needed for 3 nights. Kate was so helpful and welcoming and there was a lovely basket with eggs and cookies waiting for us, she even kindly gave us a lift when we needed it!

We had such a lovely stay… The hut and particularly the bed was so comfortable, the eggs, milk and biscuits on arrival, and fresh flowers were so thoughtful and appreciated. We LOVED having the company of the animals for our stay and the views across the Somerset Levels were idyllic. Kate was wonderful and so helpful with recommendations for our days out. We packed so much into our stay and would absolutely love to come back again and see some more of what wonderful Somerset has to offer.
