Great location, comfortable place, and friendly hosts.

The location is right in the middle of old town Avignon, within the walking distance to local attractions. The host has set up the place to be warm and comfortable. We parked in the Les Halles parking, about 5-minute walking away.

Excellent!

We liked the location, close to the sites, food stores and restaurants. We loved all the thoughtful things such as detailed instructions for every apparatus, gifts, cooking supplies, lots of cutlery & crockery, comfortable bed, quiet area, easy to contact owners.

Doors to the building are very heavy and difficult to handle with luggage.

An outstanding, comfortable and welcoming apartment in Avignon.

Charme au Coeur d’Avignon was perfect. It was clean and well appointed and everything a traveller could need was available. The provision of kitchen utensils was most generous and the nearby market made it possible for us to sample local produce both at home and at the many lovely local restaurants nearby.

There was not one thing that we could dislike about the apartment. It was PERFECT! We have been travelling in Europe for 2 months and Charme au Coeur d’Avignon was the best accommodation that we have had!!!

The property is well located in a residential area with an easy walk to the key tourist sites- Pope’s Palace and the Place de L’Horlage - which is filled with overpriced poor quality restaurants- beware of restaurants in this area charging a ‘supplement’ when only one main meal is ordered! The apartment location is good as it is a short comfortable walk from the train station and offers the opportunity to discover the beautiful streets of Avignon and enjoy a diversity of high quality and well priced local restaurants, proximity to the markets, boulangeries and interesting shops.

Although the apartment was clean the doona on the bed did not have a quilt cover - not hygienic. The bed linen and towels were well used, poor quality and needed replacement. In addition the entrance to the apartment was accessed at street level through a heavy cell like door, opening to a dingy narrow corridor leading to an extremely narrow steep spiral staircase which made it very difficult to haul heavy luggage. In the event of an emergency there is not an alternative fire exit.

Heart of Avignon.

Location - just couple of minutes from Cathedral and Papal Palace. Also nice restaurants in the neighborhood. Parking two small blocks away and actually deep inside the old city walls! Plenty of room, everything convenient in the apartment, availability of all imaginable items which a tourist may need including things like cell charger, umbrella, shopping bag (!). Well put instructions and directions. Nice and clean design and finish.

A bit tight entrance and stairs but later we've found that it is common feature in old town Avignon.

We had a lovely stay. The location of the apartment was perfect for exploring Avignon.

location of steps next to the bed - too easy to bash your feet/ankles as you went to that side of the bed. Access up the stairs was a struggle with our large/heavy suitcase. We managed fine but I think it should have been made clearer on the booking site that access for older/infirm people with heavy bags would be challenging.

Great, would stay there again and recommend to friends!

Perfect location, nice size, super clean and had everything we needed. The hosts were helpful and responsive. Everything was perfect!

The knives need sharpening and maybe a laundry machine but there was a drying rack so we did hand wash.

Great location, very convenient to go around and back for a rest with shower amid the day, especially with so hot weather in summer. Nice apartment, have everything you need. Kind hosts. Very high Quality price ratio!

A bit noisy in the evening. No cars in the street, but still some noise outside. One night believe it is cleaning the rubbish bins.

Exceptional

Location is perfect, within walking distance to all sights we want to see and to tour meeting point. There is a carrefour within several minutes walk. It’s also walkable from Avignon center station if you donot have a lot of luggage, for day trips. Owner met us outside the apartment and showed us how things work. Tastefully decorated and furnished.

Lovely apartment in the middle of Avignon

Perfect location for exploring Avignon. The apartment was extremely well equipped and everything was thought of. When we had a minor issue with the toilet Jean Michel was there immediately to solve it. The apartment was very quiet for being in such a central location. Don’t be thrown off by the entrance to apartment as what is inside more than makes up for it. Loved the air conditioning when it was 36 degrees.

The entrance to the apartment is very narrow with two doors that trap luggage and very narrow winding steps to get to the apartment. But again the apartment is worth the climb. Parking is a bit of a challenge but that is the price you pay to be as central as this apartment is

Exceptionally clean, and comfortable, very friendly host and hostess. Everything we needed for our short stay

There is a step down into the bedroom and a step up into the bathroom. Perhaps a light sensor which would shine on the step would help as it’s easy to miss them.

Charming and in the center of Avignon

It’s located in the center of the city with easy access by foot to everything. The apartment is clean and equipped with everything we’d need for a short stay. Nice and thoughtful host. Thank you!

The internet was a bit slow when we tried to stream a movie but that didn’t bother us much.

Exceptional

We felt like home. Very clean. Very modern. The apartment is fully equipped (we did not miss anything). In the fridge we found water and milk (specially bought for us). Also, Catherine and Jean Michel were waiting with a welcome gift. People who know how to make you feel very good. The apartment is very close to the major objectives of the city. If we return to Avignon, we will definitely choose this apartment. Thank you for your hospitality!
