Exceptional

Manos was very responsive, always in touch on Whatsapp, replying all my questions. He went above and beyond to make my stay even more comfortable. The apartment has a nice modern interior design & everything to feel like in a 5 star hotel. A small balcony has a view to one of the old cute central streets. The location is perfect, just a few min walk to the center of Heraklion. The Agios Minas Cathedral & Museum of Christian Art are next door. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting this beautiful old city!

Superb

Good central location. Large apartment, with modern equipment. Good value for money. Fast wi-fi. Polite and helpful owner. Problem-free check-in and check-out.

It was great leaving to this place! It was a very clean and down town. We had the feeling that we were in our home. The host was very polite and we had great communication.

So hard to rate this experience..

So hard to rate this experience. There's 2 apartments rented via booking.com in this building, A1 & A2, but we got checked-in to A3. A3 is not listed, and should not be listed as a holiday apartment, but could be ok for a 1 night city-trip. It's new inside, but not livable, no natural light (like none), walled in from all sides, and there's a very noisy engine just outside the bedroom (makes you jump day & night). I'm still confused the owner thought this could pass. The next morning we asked for a different room, and after spending 2 nights in A3 waiting for the owner to free up A1/A2, were given the room we actually booked and paid for (booking.com was not really responsive either). Having to negotiate your rights, and having to move during your holidays is really not nice, and is taking your scarce holiday time.

A1/A2 are VERY NICE apartments, VERY GOOD value for money. Modern, in a really good shape, fairly clean. Lovely balcony, lovely view to a typical narrow old-town street with local shops and locals running errands - unbeatable location. Heraklion is truly an amazing town. What I found a bit dishonest is that there was no mention on booking.com of the construction site next door, with huge machines blasting from 7am until approx.3pm. If it wasn't for the A3 scam, and if we at least knew about the construction site, we'd rate this experience 10. But we're rating it 6, as we'd definitely go back to A1/A2 - even with the construction site next door:) We really had a nice stay in Heraklion, and all in all we had a good time.

Modern Comfortable Downtown Space

Prime location as it’s right at downtown at walkable distance to all the prime attractions. The bus station to go to Knossos Palace is just 13 mins away by walking from the apartment. The apartment is modern and clean and great for a single traveler or a couple. The host was extremely friendly and hospitable. Definitely consider this apartment if you want to visit Heraklion.

The facilities can be better improved if there was a microwave and a better stocked pantry and cutleries. Other than that, there was nothing to not like.

Clean but Noisy spot

The apartment is clean, but equipment seems unfinished. You provided with coffee machine but there is no coffee, or tea, or even water. Honestly, the first stay where there wasn’t a simple bottle of water… Also kitchen utensils are present but there is no salt or cooking oil, for example. So you need to buy a full bottle of oil to fry an egg. We booked this apartment in order to cook smth, but left this idea. The same goes with bathroom: overall it is great, but there is no place to put your toothbrush or soap, which personally for me is frustrating. But the most important is the renovation of the house right next to the apartment. We were on vacation and wanted to spend extra time in bed in the mornings, but builders started working at 8-9 AM even on Saturdays, so we decided to leave day earlier to get a good sleep. Cause noise from here sounds like they won’t finish working in the nearest future. I am sure, that all negative vibe comes mostly because of the noise and the owner has nothing to do about this. But a small note from him will be enough and we’ll avoid unsatisfying experience

A very nice, comfortable, big apartment with everything you need. Close to city center. self checking. really great!

We didn't t like the view. I think we got the bigger apartment, lucky us! But there...we saw a big white wall and the sky. In the morning the women from the store were talking loudly + construction sounds from the building nearby.

Good

The location was perfect, in the city centre and at the same time at a quiet spot! It was spacious and the bed was very comfortable!

Lack of amenities both in the bathroom and the kitchen. Although there was a kitchen with pots and pans and even an espresso machine. It did not have a bottle of water in the fridge, nor a couple of espresso capsules, nor some tea nor instant coffee. The cleaning should be more careful. Many small flies in the bathroom and the bedroom. Also found hair on the bed and the chairs in the bedroom.

It was ok

The host seemed to be a nice person. It's quite a big room for a short holiday

1. There was construction noises every day from 8 am. In a holiday I would have preferred to sleep longer and more comfortable. The host could have let us know about this, which he didn't. 2. Water pressure was average. 3. The pillows were too high, not suited to ergonomics needs.
