Beautiful location! Great restaurant and breakfast buffet!
The room I booked was not what I was given. We got a handicapped room. Noisy family next to us.

We enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning. Our room had great character and it was a pleasure to return to each evening.
Just wish we'd had more time to spend by the pool, the water was so refreshing. The pool area is beautifully maintained.
The charming and very helpful staff made it a holiday to remember.
A fridge in the room to keep our drinks cool in the very high temperatures would have been helpful.

Firstly, the staff are amazing and make this place as special as it is. They were so warm and friendly. It is very relaxing and beautiful in this area and the food was good. Just a short drive from both Florence and Pisa but far enough that you get a relaxing countryside break
You definitely need a car to get around. We weren't staying long so opted for airport shuttle (which we booked through the hotel) rather than hire a car but this was VERY expensive for the short amount of time the journey took. It would be nice if the hotel had bikes to rent so you could explore nearby without a car.
It says there is a tour desk but they don't actually offer any except for private hire drivers which cost hundreds of euros.
The food is good but choices are limited, which is fine if you're only staying a few nights.
Our AC didn't work so the room was very stuffy and not soundproof at all. We could hear everything from our neighbours.
It was lovely to be able to have private use of the spa facilities however the water in the hot tub was a bit dirty and there was built up residue around the sides. The steam room smelt of damp and there were loads of bugs inside the spa room.
The hotel could really do with some comfortable outside seating. We were so relaxed lounging and reading our books outside but the chairs have no cushion so wasn't very comfortable.
