Friendly and helpful staff, nice breakfasts. The location was lovely and close enough to walk to town. I felt very safe and secure. The showers were a nice size and didn’t leak!
Elevator could only hold 2 people at a time (1 person with luggage) so if you are in a group, this takes a lot of time.

The whole experience was wonderful. The residence maintained the charm and history with updated amenities. The hosts were attentive to our every need. The breakfast was delicious and most appreciated before heading out for a busy day. Breakfast also gave us an opportunity to meet guests traveling from other places and share sites not to be missed.
We had no complaints.

This is an excellent property for a stay over to visit Florence. The location is close enough to walk or get a taxi at a reasonable price. The room was large, tastefully furnished and the sitcom welcome in the 40 degree heat in August. The breakfast is varied and delicious- especially the omelette which has to be one of the best we have had. Andreas is an excellent host - attentive and welcoming - and overall the heartbeat of the hotel. We would love to visit again and the hotel offers a further discount when rebooking. First rate.

The location is good. The room is good size and the bed is comfortable
The building is very old. We learned after getting there that the building was kept as is. For example, there were pictures of people on the walls, there’s an old library that smells of old dusty books. The walkway smells of pets.
Overall, there was no services available. I had to lift my luggages. The place is ‘ creepy’ in the meaning of random people pictures on the walls and the smell of the place
