This hotel was fantastic! We loved the location and the Italian charm. Breakfast was great and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was to our liking. The Tower Bar was a super special perk to staying at this property with incredible views of Florence. We would return in a heartbeat!
Traversing the stairs with our heavy luggage was a little challenging but wouldn't deter us from staying here again

The hotel was in a quieter part of town near the river on a quaint alley. It has quite a history going back centuries with a beautiful staircase, large wooden doors and gorgeous keys. An easy 5-10 minute walk to most attractions. The view from the roof is arguably the best view in Florence over looking the Duomo with 360 degree city views. Breakfast is fantastic! Would definitely stay here again.
The room was nice but it felt sparse and could have had more personality. Given the history of the hotel I would have expected more period piece decor. It was still lovely but felt like they stopped short of making it amazing.

Lovely old building, helpful reception staff and in a great location. Breakfast was ok but not great.
The building was very cold and both my wife and I ended up with bad colds. No heating working and our bathroom was very compact even for an old building. Electrics probably in need of an upgrade.
