Amazing, if not THE BEST, location! We walked everywhere!
Nice breakfast as well and it gave us great value for the $!
The decor wasn’t really our cup of tea and it didn’t have much natural light so was quite dark. That said, I’d still book here again because of the positives.

The proximity to so many places that we planned to visit - and close to the train station. Even in the heat, we were able to walk almost everywhere. Being so close to the piazza and carousel made it even more magical!
We got stuck in the elevator once and that was scary and we had no washcloths, which we are used to having for the shower.

The location is absolutely wonderful, right in the centre of town. The historic building is a sight to behold and it feels great to stay in a piece of history. The air con is great and the beds are comfy. Wisly was a very kind individual at breakfast and very helpful, much more than can be said for the rest of the staff.
Breakfast was disappointing. A lot of staff are very rude. There’s a fair bit of noise from the square at all time of day and until about midnight from musicians and performers in the square. Not excessive but do take some earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. No fridge in the room. Just not worth the money. The old building has its drawbacks with noise transmitted quite easily through the wooden floors, particularly if you’re in room 307-309 which are below the breakfast room.
