Everything was perfect. Great location to so many activities and food choices. Clean, spacious, and a great and helpful staff giving us wonderful suggestions that enhanced our stay.

The location could not have been better. It’s so close to Santa Maria Novella station, just in the walking distance. It’s located in the middle of a busy street and as soon as you come out from the hotel you are in the middle of hustle and bustle. The street was usually closed off for car traffic unless it’s early morning. You can just go on the street and sit next door outside with aperitivo. There are a couple of bodegas and two laundromats in a 1 minute walk. The Duomo and Mercado are so close and you can walk anywhere without a need for a taxi or a public transportation.
The staff were so nice and helpful, always eager to answer questions.
The room was clean and I appreciated the daily room service which seems more like a luxury now in the states.
I never heard any neighbors or street noise and the water pressure in the shower was excellent. The air conditioning worked well without any loud noise.
The breakfast had good variety with pastries, cereal, cold cuts, toast, eggs, and fresh fruit.
The hotel was not very expensive, and if I go to Florence again, I’ll be staying here.
I wish the property had more ironing boards as I had to wait sometimes for an hour before getting one. That was a learning curve and I had to plan ahead.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Accademia. The location was perfect—I loved how close I was to everything, which made exploring Florence so easy and convenient. I was also very happy with the size of my room; it was spacious and comfortable, and the bathroom was a great size as well. After a long day of sightseeing, it was nice to come back to a comfortable room where I could relax. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend Hotel Accademia for its excellent location, comfort, and convenience.
The only negative for me was the mattress. Although the bed was a good size, I personally did not find the mattress very comfortable and it was not to my liking.
