Weekend Fiorentino sotto la pioggia

Hotel caratteristico, nel centro di Firenze, vicino alla stazione Santa Maria Novella e vicinissimo al Mercato centrale, al Duomo. Non è un hotel moderno ma è questa la sua bellezza, lo staff molto gentile ed accogliente. Sono molto soddisfatta del mio soggiorno. Veramente comodo per visitare la città, tutto vicino.

Clean, location and friendly staff

Hotel Collodi Firenze was super clean, great location, friendly staff and great deal for the price. The bed & pillows were super comfortable and the shower had lots of hot water and great water pressure! We would definitely stay again!

we enjoyed a lot; the hotel is on a very good location!

very quiet chamber very comfortable beds

we found the breakfast less good; (but we don't like sweet products) they have such good cheese and bacon in Italy, that could be better, also the bread was not so good coffee was very good

Great stay

Great central location, very clean, lovely continental breakfast, comfortable beds, kettle and coffee maker in room. We had 2 rooms, double and a twin for teenage children. Brilliant facilities. Very quiet but close to restaurants, shops, markets and sights. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks.

Great location. Highly recommend.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was good. My only complaint is that the wifi was not always stable. The location was wonderful.

The wifi for our room did not always work. However, when we connected to the wifi for the adjacent room, it was fine.

Charming hotel in a great location. Good value.

It has a traditional Italian atmosphere, like and older "Pensione." I prefer a hotel with an historical ambiance vs. modern, sterile hotels. Good internet speeds. Good breakfast variety.

Exceptional

Hotel was just 5 mins walk from Florence train station. Our host Giovanni welcomed us warmly and allowed us to store our luggage in the room while the room was waiting to be cleaned. We then went out for city tour and lunch. Room was very clean when we came back for sleep later in the night. It is big and very reasonable price for size and location. Breakfast in the morning was absolutely great and I think we ate to our fullest 😉 Thank you very much Giovanni 🙏

nice and clean hotel with fantastic breakfast

location is good, walking distance to the train station, 2 min walk to the central market building. the staff is very friendly and on duty from early morning till 7pm. The free breakfast buffet is fantastic, many choice than other place, such as egg, juice, ham, etc. in a dedicated dinning room. the room size is fine for family of four, with suitcase area. two twin beds and one queen bed. there is a small refrigerator with bottle water provided. Wifi works fine.

our room is located at the top floor and the elevator only up to one floor below , so we have to carry our luggage to climb the stairs from 2nd floor to the top floor. being at the top floor, it is particularly hot at the end of June in Florence. the AC does not work sufficiently to cool down the room, there are two electric fans provided to help the air circulation, and the function is limited. I hope a more powerful AC could be upgrade to efficiently cool the room. I think this is a special case for the top floor.

Brilliant and a perfect choice of hotel for visiting the sites of Firenze

Fabulous location. Hosts charming . Attractive interior with rustic Italian decor, breakfast excellent and included pastries, cereals, yogurts, cheeses, charcuterie and lovely coffee.

Everything so clean and fresh but bathroom had faded plastic ,hairdryer fitting, tissue holder which spoilt the ,otherwise ,pristine appearance of the room and would be worth replacing.

we received the other room, not what we see on Booking we will receive. The room was ok! cleen

was a little bit cold in the night, we was in the ground floor, the lady from reception give us an radiator electric.

Would happily stay again.

The hosts were extremely helpful and went out of their way to provide us with little touches that added to our stay. For example, my husband bought me flowers and they let me borrow a beautiful vase to display them in. They were friendly and engaging. The breakfast was well above what we have had in other similar hotels with fantastic bean-to-cup coffee, tasty pastries and great cold meats and cheeses. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a good-sized fridge. The wifi was great and there were 4 USB charging points provided as well.

The double be was actually two single beds joined together so there was a bit of a crack in the middle of the bed.
