The house is well proportioned and located. Parking is close and is useful outside the property (but limited), and you have the garage there if you need it (but no access to the house from it).
Overall, it was a home from home, and we thoroughly enjoyed staying there.

From the start, communication with the host (the lovely Laure!) was great! When we got to the property, I couldn't believe how nice everything was. It's such a characterful house with lots of cool details throughout (the tile in the kitchen! the wood floors!). And the courtyard pretty much made our whole holiday. A lot of reading and drinking out there at a time when we really really needed to relax. And the enclosed green area was appreciated by the dog (she liked to sleep in the shade up there). The garage was the real hero of the trip--I think there were at least 3 markets in town while we were there, which meant lots of people traveling from out of town searching for parking. So it was nice to not have to worry about that when we went on some excursions. Proximity to the main streets of the village was great too--easy walk to the market square and all the shops and restaurants. ****A lot of other reviews mention the mosquitos. My partner is the one who usually gets eaten, but these ones were out for both of us! Come prepared--we used the mosquito coils at the house, a smelly citronella/lavender? thing at the house, some Raid plug-ins and a big Thermacell butane thing for outside. Once we'd defeated them, the rest of the stay was PERFECT. Would 1000% stay here again.
