Very comfortable bed. Easy walk from the station. There was a fan since it was very hot.
The curtains need attention as they had some broken hooks.
It would be nice to have access to a fridge.
Bedside light was broken.

Excellent, small property in close proximity to the main train station in Cambridge. We could walk from The Norna to the station as well as to multiple great breakfast options within about 5 minutes. This was wonderful for me and my husband since we wanted to take multiple daytrips during our stay. Also, the Norna is just down the street from Mill Road which has numerous options for ethnic dining. About a 25-minute walk from central Cambridge, the Norna is convenient enough for reaching the colleges and main attractions in Cambridge but far enough away to be in a quiet area. The price of the room was very affordable compared to other options. Very clean, cozy room with private bathroom. I appreciated the prompt, clear communication provided by Claire, the owner, about accessing the property, wi-fi, and other aspects of our stay. Would definitely stay here again!
The drain in the shower was a bit slow. Otherwise, our room was perfect for me and my husband on our 5-night stay visiting our son, a student in town.

Poor facilities with worn-out carpet in the stairs, no airconditioning in a small room (opening the window at night is possible, but then one listens to the sound of cars and partying youngsters). Tiny kettle has to be unplugged every time you want to fill it. Very uncomfortable cold white light from the lamps.
