The owner and the staff were absolutely amazing. A bit of Google translate and good will on both sides, and everything worked like a charm. Very kind and friendly, without being intrusive a bit. If you need anything, maintenance, toiletries, new towels- all a message to the owner away. The place is in the midst of one of the liveliest areas at night, but very safe (I also found Akyaka to be a safe place, and the locals to be beyond the allure of the petty crime). It gets a bit lively at night (especially over the weekend) with all bars and restaurants, but the soundproofing is OK, the air condition is great (if it is too hot to seep in a closed room), or you may ask if the room overlooking the garden is available. The music shuts around midnight, but youth of the chain may shout now and then. However, it did not bother me, or disturb my night rest overly. Absolutely everything is in the immediate proximity of the hotel. A lovely balcony was a large plus in my universe. The room was as described during the booking process (the owner was very helpful and we made some alterations to my initial booking on time and hassle free- via WhatsApp and with the assistance of Google translate). One might expect flashy modern furniture, but remember that Akyaka is a part of the Cittaslow movement and being just as it is is a part of its charm. I had not breakfast arranged via the hotel (no facilities in the hotel itself), but there are, literally, a few dozens of places to have kahvalti and a great coffee or tea within 300 meters radius. Change, explore, why binding yourself to a singe space and menu... If that is not your cup of tea, the hotel has an arrangement with one of the restaurants within 10 meters to provide breakfast for their guests.
