The location was perfect with a beautiful view of the river. The bed was huge and so comfortable I had a great nights sleep. Loved the shower room - huge with a rainfall shower and separate toilet with a view! Also the little touches like the interesting books were very thoughtful. Breakfast in the beautiful garden was the perfect way to start the day. Véronique is a wonderful warm and friendly host who clearly wants her guests to have the best possible experience.
One tiny thing- I would’ve liked a flat surface next to the bed as I like to have a glass of water next to me through the night. There was no bedside table as such, there was a ledge above the bed but it was a touch too high and a chair next to the bed which had a sloping seat so I couldn’t place anything on it.
