The breakfast was simple but sufficient.
As for the view, it was absolutely beautiful.
In the morning, it felt like looking at a painting.
However…
For someone visiting for the first time, the photos give the impression that all rooms have a river view.
This is not the case for all rooms, including ours.
If the hotel is aware or if you’re lucky, you might be given a room with a river view; otherwise, you can enjoy this beautiful scenery from the common area where breakfast and meals are served on the ground floor.
This might come as a surprise to first-time visitors.
We noticed it ourselves. Yes, it would have been nice to have a river view from our room, but even so, it was still okay.

Location is nice and quiet but only a short walk to the busy part of town. Lovely view of the river and nice common area to relax and enjoy breakfast. Welcoming staff.

For the view, the service and the style of the rooms I would give this hotel a 9 or 10. The hotel looks very nice, the staff is very friendly and absolutely willing to help you with everything you need and the view of the terrace and the upper rooms is magnificant. For us the location was good (quiet) but still a 20/30 min walk to the city centre.
But for comfort, I would rate it with a 5. So with a 7 on average I stayed in the middle.
The room is not super clean. It's looks nice and the bed, the towels and the floor are clean, but when you look closer you will find a lot of dust around the bed (like a lot!) and a lot of dead bugs, bug poop and spiderwebs hanging on the ceiling corners.
The toiletseat hung lose and the bathroom was full of large ants. Maybe because this rooms is partially under the ground, even though it is the ground floor.
The big towels don't dry properly and when you shower, everything gets wet. They should install a glass door, that would make a big difference.
The bed is hard and so are the pillows, but this is subjective.
The AC is pointed directly to the bed, so slept with only the AC fan unfortunately.
The lighting is too low. There is almost no daylight comming in so you need better lights.
Noisy from guests staying above and local people living next door.
They really have to update and fix the room, give it a deep clean and change the position of the AC a little more away from the bed, then you will probably get more value for money.
