About this cottage rental
This oversized Carmel Family Vacation home (2200 square feet) was named " Peace of Heaven," by the owners as they always feel as though they are in heaven when they make the trip up from their Silicon Valley home. "They get the much needed rest and relaxation they need when ever they come up." The home is located in the "woods" area of Carmel and is just a 15 min walk l to world class restaurants, shops art galleries and the beach. Pebble Beach and all the golf you could possibly want is also just a few minutes away. The Cottage sleeps 10 with 3 bedrooms outfitted with king size beds. The den has a queen size murphy bed and there are two day beds in the oversized master bedroom. The owners just recently 2025 put in beautiful Italian white oak flooring throughout the home the entry way brick and sunroom tile.
Cozy up by the fireplace in the living room while you watch your favorite tv show. The kitchen is set with a service for 12, and is stocked with all the baking dishes, pots , pans and electric cooking devices you may need. The gas barbeque is located on the patio adjacent the dining room and kitchen and is accessed via French doors.
Enjoy the morning sunshine and evening cocktails with a peek of the pacific ocean. The neighborhood is ideal for walking, and great for looking at the variations of charming Carmel homes. Everything here will make for a lifetime memory.

This is our second time staying at this property and everything is just perfect. It is so well maintained, organized and all the amenities that are needed and even things you may not think you need. We had a wonderfully comfortable and relaxing vacation. Thank you!

Cozy cottage in Carmel Woods. Well stocked kitchen with good coffee and complementary snacks. Spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds and large TVs with Xfinity cable. We were very comfortable and look forward to a return visit.

This home exceeded our expectations. Tastefully decorated, well-organized, everything worked, kitchen well stocked, everything super clean, fabulous location 5 minute drive from the heart of Carmel. My husband and I have stayed at dozens of VRBOs on the West Coast and in Europe and this home was the easiest and most organized stay we've ever had. All the tv's, furnace, fireplace, appliances were so easy to use. The kitchen made sense and included quality cutlery, practical pots and pans, and fully stocked aluminum foil, plastic wrap, paper towels which we appreciated. We've stayed at so many places that were beautiful, but lacked a tea kettle or a skillet or where you needed a PhD to figure out how to use the tv or the furnace. Nice big driveway to park and I was inspired by the front garden and the intoxicating scent coming from one of the beautiful trees. Upstairs there's a glimpse of the sea where you can watch the gorgeous sunsets. This home was equal in comfort, taste, practicality, and location. Highly recommend. We hope to stay here again soon.

This is a beautiful home in Carmel! The host Debra was extremely helpful and extremely responsive! I had a ton of questions and she answered every one of them timely and kindly! She even brought us a humidifier and umbrellas! The house itself had everything a family with kids of all ages could need - including toys for the younger kids and games for the older kids. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed - even ziplock bags for leftovers! I do think that this house is the best stocked house that I have ever rented through VRBO. The location was wonderful as well - close to everything we wanted to do. I would highly recommend staying here for any families with kids! Debra - Thank YOU for making our stay wonderful!!
