Kurzaufenthalt

- Sehr gutes Frühstück - hübsches Zimmer - Lage sehr schön, direkt in Königsstein - sehr schöne Ausflugsziele in der Nähe

- Direkt neben den Gleisen, man hört die Züge, was uns aber nicht all zu sehr gestört hat

Schönes Hotel mit engagiertem Personal

Sehr nette Chefin und sehr bemühte Mitarbeitende. Das Hotel ist sauber und das Frühstück gut!

Hellhörig, an Straße und Bahngleisen doch relativ laut. Etwas teuer für den Komfort.

Mit Hingabe geführte Pension

Ich habe mich hier pudelwohl gefühlt. Alle waren sehr freundlich, es war super sauber, das Frühstück war individuell auf meine Wünsche abgestimmt und mehr als ausreichend, über Obst, Gemüse, Müsli, Cornflakes, verschiedene Käsesorten, Wurstsorten, hausgemachte Marmelade, weich- und hart gekochte Eier, Rührei uvm. Am Abend habe ich im hauseigenen Restaurant gespeist. Von deftiger Hausmannskost wie Wildgulasch bis hin zu modern angerichtetes Lachsfilet auf Risotto. Das Zimmer war einfach aber ausreichend eingerichtet. Tisch, Bett, Stuhl, Schrank, TV, eigenes Bad mit Dusche. Die Vorhänge an den Fenstern verdunkeln gut, weil es jetzt schon früh hell wird. Vom Bahnhof gemütlich mit Gepäck im Schlepptau brauchte ich 10 Minuten durch das wirklich beschauliche Städtchen. Die Wirtin macht den Eindruck als leite sie ihre Pension mit Hingabe und Liebe. Alle Aktivitäten , wie zum Beispiel die Festung Königstein, Pfaffenstein, Lilienstein, selbst die Basteibrücke habe ich zu Fuß erreicht. Die Pension lag für meine Ziele sehr zentral. Wirklich empfehlenswert.

Excellent food; dinner and breakfast both fantastic. Great value and we were happy

The annexe is basic and while we were quite happy, the noise cannot be muted perfectly so might impact for an uninterrupted sleep.

Lovely area, lovely hotel.

As I was due to arrive after 8pm , I was supposed to get my key from a key safe, but the owner in fact waited for me to arrive at the property to let me in, a nice touch. The room was fine, and Konigstein is a lovely little town in a superb location. Breakfast was good.

A comfortable stay in a charming little village

It was easy to find, just a short stroll back along the main road. Our host was wonderful. We managed to check in next door at the restaurant, after a slight misunderstanding about dates, even with our limited Deutsch. We were made to feel really welcome. “Guten Morgen Familie Horgan”, said the sign on our allotted breakfast table. One wall was attractively decorated with pictures of the local area. Notice the flood level marker in the corner. Coffee was ready and a plate of cold meats and cheeses and a basket of bread soon followed. We served ourselves juice and cereals. I had paid Gästetaxe on arrival so check out was as easy as dropping off the key to our host and walking out the back door.

Tea and coffee for supper. At night the curtains offered little protection from street lights nor train noise. That must have been why earplugs were provided. :-) But we still slept fairly well.

They do what they can

Location is great for public transport. Staff was top notch.

The town was essentionally closed. Being a foreigner, I had no idea, and believe the lodger could have helped me understand beforehand. Room was tiny. I could accept the noise from traffic and trains, but not having dark window coverings made for difficult sleep.

Disappointing

Clean room.

Very very bad mattress. Worn out. Not the similar hight as the other one. For the asked price the quality of the mattress was a shame.

Superb

Staff was very friendly, breakfast was very nice and the restaurant was not bad either.

The soap was very harsh and there was no conditioner for your hair which is pretty normal in Germany but I recommend bringing some facial soap and body lotion.

great location, the staff are super friendly, breakfast was amazing! very close to station

breakfast was amazing, great service, great selection, really enjoyed the breakfast at this place. love the friendly staff, super nice and helpful. very cute place, the had grill party and we really enjoyed that too. they have regional wine and really close to bus stop

better pillows and beds, a kettle in room could really help after a full day hike

The room too small and not too much space with expensive price

It’s ok the shower 🚿 hot and power !

Not really ! The food portion very small with expensive price ! We got Gulasch dish only 4 small pieces of meat and also small piece in the rinderolade ! It looks like the rest of food ! I have never seen such poor dishes in Germany. The price over the top for such quality of food .no 2 times!! But 1 positiv breakfast was not bad !

A great place to stay with kind staff who go above and beyond.

This place is fantastic. The staff went above and beyond. The space was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was surprisingly great - tasty and far more variety and portion than I'd expect at a budget hotel. I really enjoyed my stay and would very happily return.

It was close to the road and train so pretty loud, but that's really built into the price. Very fair all things considered.

We were walking the Malerweg and Konigstein was convenient but a disappointing town.

Avoid a bedroom overlooking the railway; noisy all night long!

Very good

Very clean facilities and pretty friendly staff.

I didn't like, that we had view of the rails and couldn't see the elbe which you could see on a picture from Sachsenstübl. According to this we also had the noise of the train. With the offered ear protection it was ok.

1 night 1+1

Spent there just 1 night with 13-monts old son. Small but nice & clean room with toilet and shower. Nice cuisine in the restaurant as well.

Place is really close to rail trails - could be noisy from time to time & no big issue when window is closed however.
